no i dont think he wanted to fight at 145. what is your next question? oh wait i have one for you. manny was 140 pound champ cotto was 147 pound champ. floyd and canelo were both 154 pound champs so why did they fight at 152 in a unification? do you think that is the same thing? why you bringing up false equivalencies?
How Canelo was too green for Floyd?

Good post. Bringing the fight up with my brother years later I even referred to Canelo being 21. My brother told me that I just remember it that way because a lot of people are always writing about how young/green Nelo was. But reminded that he was actually 23 and older than most people remember. I think it was a great lesson for Nelo to feel how skill beat him despite his size and youth. Canelo has worked on his skill, fundamentals to which it’s given him the confidence to rise in weight. He knows he doesn’t have to be bigger just better. The part they all leave out when crying about how young Canelo was...is how old Mayweather was.
It's like folks have amnesia.
The reason why folks wanted that fight so much in the first place is that it was thought that a young phenom who often rehydrated to damn near light heavyweight would be the way to finally defeat an aging Floyd whose greatest talent was slowing down the tempo and output of fights against men his own size.
It was thought that Canelo's youth would be an advantage in that respect.
Now, after he boatraced Saul, everyone wants to act like it was Floyd taking advantage.
LMAO!!!Comment

it was a unification fight. do you know what that means? you can't have it both ways. was pac a champ at 147? no. exposed again on your false equivalency fails. got any more?Comment

yeah but that disregards everything that we now know. we now know that floyd was using usada to prevent his opponents from using roids while floyd himself was using roids while paying off usada. he fought a canelo without roids while he was on roids himself and he fought him at 152 meaning he was weaker than normal. this is the signature win of his career? i mean come on. thats pathetic. this is like saying the houston astros are the best baseball team of all time. no.Good post. First you do know Canelo had very little amateur experience right so a lot of his early fights he was learning on the job you noob.Being 23-years-old with 42-0-1 record and 8 (EIGHT!!!) years of pro experience if:
21-years-old Fernando Vargas with only 17 pro fights and only 2 years and 9 months of pro experience wasn't too green for Winky Wright?
22-years-old Muhammad Ali with only 19 pro fights and only 3 years and 4 months of pro experience wasn't too green for Sonny Liston?
23-years-old Evander Holyfield with only 11 pro fights and only 1 year and 8 months of pro experience wasn't too green for Dwight Qawi?
Of course, Saul has become better since 2013, but lets not act as if his age and lack of experince were the main factors that enabled Floyd's lopsided win. The different in skills was the main factor of Floyd schooling Canelo so badly + his style being the hardest one for Canelo - he always looked less than impressive against slick boxers and always will
And 2nd tell me who’s alt you are?Comment

everyone knows floyds win over canelo is tainted with the catchweight and the fake drug testing that let floyd cheat but whats most important is thats floyds best win! pac over cotto was tainted because of the catch weight as well but thats pacs maybe 5th best win of his career so comparing them is pretty silly dont you think? oh wait floyd fans are unable to think sorryComment

why not?... you seem to do that just fine...
Mr " the catchweight affected Canelo, but did not affect Cotto "
silly pacstains should STFU about two things...
never accuse another fighter of taking steroids, and never cry about catchweights
