How Canelo was too green for Floyd?

Being 23-years-old with 42-0-1 record and 8 (EIGHT!!!) years of pro experience if:

21-years-old Fernando Vargas with only 17 pro fights and only 2 years and 9 months of pro experience wasn't too green for Winky Wright?

22-years-old Muhammad Ali with only 19 pro fights and only 3 years and 4 months of pro experience wasn't too green for Sonny Liston?

23-years-old Evander Holyfield with only 11 pro fights and only 1 year and 8 months of pro experience wasn't too green for Dwight Qawi?

Of course, Saul has become better since 2013, but lets not act as if his age and lack of experince were the main factors that enabled Floyd's lopsided win. The different in skills was the main factor of Floyd schooling Canelo so badly + his style being the hardest one for Canelo - he always looked less than impressive against slick boxers and always will

I remember vividly in 2013 how mofos accused Floyd of ducking Canelo lol. matter fact those threads are still here if u search. they said Showtime "forced" Floyd to take the fight. Canelo was not green. that beating was the best thing to happen to him. look how much he's learned from it.

He wasn't too green. Canelo previous fight was with undefeated champ Austin Trout (who just beast Coto) and Shane Mosely (who Floyd also just beat a year or so earlier.)

The part they all leave out when crying about how young Canelo was...is how old Mayweather was.

            It's like folks have amnesia.

The reason why folks wanted that fight so much in the first place is that it was thought that a young phenom who often rehydrated to damn near light heavyweight would be the way to finally defeat an aging Floyd whose greatest talent was slowing down the tempo and output of fights against men his own size.

It was thought that Canelo's youth would be an advantage in that respect.

Now, after he boatraced Saul, everyone wants to act like it was Floyd taking advantage.

            LMAO!!!

Canelo wasnt green. What makes me laugh is when his fans claim how much better he is now and that he would beat Floyd today lmfao

No version of Canelo beats Floyd.. ever..

People just say that to discredit Floyd. If floyd was the 23 year old fighting the 35 year old he would get criticized for fighting the much older person.

I was at the weigh in and they literally ask canelo are you ready and he said he was born ready. Canelo came out the womb ready for that ass whooping lol.
