Yeah........he troubled Floyd in their first fight, don't forget there was a second fight ....the only reason the first fight played out that way was cause Floyd underestimated maidana

Hell even on Mayweather v Pacquiao Jim Lampley was saying something like GGG is one of the greatest knockout artist of all time do yourselfa favor and watch his highlights on HBO youtube chanel

Now I will say GGG is much better than Bute but the point stands
Cool fair enough that’s your perspective. I think his ko streak had plenty to do with that and they marketed on it heavy but that’s entertainment business for ya.

Now onto the overhyped what exactly suggests that to you? Again, work with me here I’m just trying to understand the logic and I’ll get this out of the way ahead of time. I think he lost to Sergiy, he beat Daniel, he should’ve won the first Canelo fight and went to a draw on the second fight but I would’ve been cool with either man winning by a point or two margin max based on potential swing rounds. The reason I ask is because I don’t see anything the man has shown to suggest what you are saying. So I’m trying to understand this overhyped talk.

To me Broner, Easter, David price, dillian whyte, burns, Edwards, Nicolas Walters, Judah (after he showed he didn’t have the chin or heart to be elite) and at this point and time tank Davis are overhyped and manufactured star fighters..so I’m familiar with the term and criteria...just trying to see it from your view.

IF ggg Beat Mayweather @ 154 in 2013, how much credit would he get for this victory?

Mayweather was 36 at the time.
        What’s your point bro

He would've been the 1st to beat Floyd so of course he'd get credit....with that said, C'mon now. Floyd white washes him like he did Canelo. GGG has/had nothing for Floyd

GGG style is as different than Miadana's as styles can ever be.

            Maidana is wild and unpredictable.
GGG is calculating and at times cautious.

I don't think floyd would have been knocked out he had an atg chin. Took that bomb from mosley didn't drop and also in one of the maidana fights he took a massive shot towards the end of the round and shook it off.

GGG didn’t want the fight. GGG already drains to 160. Every weigh in his eyes are sadly seeped in and many occasions is sick during fight week. Thank god for boxing rehydration protocol after weigh ins or else these boxers would collapse. They have maintain the weight on fight week, stable, then splurge on water and nutrition afterwards. It’s a great science.

Canelo invited GGG to 155 before the Cotto fight. Abel and GGG publicly refused. What other “money fights” are there if you can’t get Floyd? Doesn’t make any sense, and when you say 154- if it makes financial sense only means Floyd? Lol.

If GGG since his debut could easily make 160 then he’d easily make 154. Some say GGG campaigned at 160 because they wanted Sturm from the beginning, but that was soooo long ago like 2010. If he couldn’t get the fight even though they were the same promotional team, then GGG would’ve forgotten Sturm and campaigned at 154.

Crawford could rehydrate to 153 on fight at Lightweight. You mean GGG couldn’t do as well at 154?

To defense of GGG fans, he could never make 154 without being a zombie on fight night. Those were just marketing tactics to get big fights. What’s worse, GGG never went to 168... even though they wanted Bhop at the full 175 since 2013 ffs. Abel even said when the time was right at 175 they would. GGG was already in his 30’s when they said this...

                    I hate bullshetters.
