Nah, I don't think so but this left-right combination from Bowe was brutal. Donald too the punches like a champ but those punches could've easily knocked him out cold.

I saw on the news today the worst serial killer in US history was an ex-pro boxer. He killed 90 people yet even he had better weigh-in ethics than Shields bro

That is if he dies, god willing this argument is only academic.

            second degree murder
            n. a non-premeditated killing, resulting from an assault in which death of the victim was a distinct possibility. Second degree murder is different from first degree murder, which is a premeditated, intentional killing or results from a vicious crime such as arson, **** or armed robbery. Exact distinctions on degree vary by state.

As I said before, hopefully this is just an academic discussion.

It would DEFF not be murder 1. You would NEVER get a murder 1 in a street fight. I REALLY doubt it would be murder at all and most likely it would be Manslaughter 1. That's a BIG charge and could carry as much as 25+yrs. Their is NO prosecutor would try and call a fight that just broke out "premediated" and also REAL hard to prove he meant to kill which is what it would take to get murder 2 even. He is not a pro fighter, that would add to the charges because it would be considered a weapon. At that point it changes a bit because you can argue that a assault with a weapon you can reasonable assume could end in death which WOULD be enough for murder 2 or less. Even then its still MUCH MORE likely to be manslaughter 1.

You need to PROVE intention for it to be murder. It would almost surly be charged manslaughter 1. At that point circumstances, criminal history, state all come into play whether it would be pleaded down to a lesser manslaughter. Man 1 is a HUGE charge worth 25+yrs depending.

Well not exactly as that would be murder in the first degree.
It could still be murder without being premeditated. I’m not a lawyer but I believe that a sudden act in anger that resulted in death would qualify as second degree murder.
