Its funny because Adonis Stevenson publicly called out Ward but Ward was reluctant to even acknowledge it.

Agree with your sentiment, it is a risk vs reward game at the end of the day
Right. I’m Canadian and I know we protect our fighters cause promoters make money at home. We will never risk letting our guys travel to get the experience to truly be great. Still Adonis had a big left hand punch, so I understand the risk and financials where Ward wouldn’t mention his name. AJ made a pile of money before he travelled and got knocked out. I’m scared promoters will continue to see that as the way to make money instead of seeing if they can make a fighter great.

You do know that ward never fancied an adonis fight because adonis was the one who ducked kovalev and jumped to showtime while ward/kovalev was doing all of the heavy lifting, making the light theavyweight division exciting, then all of a sudden adonis wants to be part of the show after seeing ward/kovalev 1/2. Ward feels that adonis don't deserve it, and that's not due to ward being scared, but more of a principle thing. Ward is way too skilled for adonis, and everyone knows that.

What Ward feels doesnt mean anything to me, the point is he was called out publicly by somebody in his weight division (one of the top guys) and he failed to provide a real response. For those saying GGG ducked Ward, well the same could be said here.

Sadly this has been the case for a long time and will continue to be the case, its the easiest route for them to make money with minimal risk.

Anyone that thinks like this is a ***in idiot. Golovkin was the driver, he was the one with the buzz, the bigger star, why is he sacrificing himself to make a Ward fight when he has Canelo right here? To say he wanted nothing of Ward is just disingenuous, he offered 164 and Ward again said no, just like back in 2013. If Ward wanted Golovkin that bad he would have accepted 164, Golovkin was willing to risk derailing the Canelo fight and moving up, Ward was not willing to do anything to make the fight happen, he was just talking a lot.

He has already responded. Go watch the interviews. He mentions that adonis doesn't deserve it, and it was a genuine response with no fear in it. Ward is not afraid of adonis. This is different from GGG being afraid of ward because GGG IS indeed afraid of ward, and the info is out there in the open for all to see.

Lol @ “doesn’t deserve it”. Here I thought most fighters would love the opportunity to become undisputed champion. It’s funny the type of garbage fans will accept from fighters they support as opposed to fighters they don’t.
