    The rematch clause is not being disputed, its the details that surround it and the posters who act like they have read the contract and know all the details

                  Of course a contract can be renegotiated, but that doesn't mean it has to be renegotiated.

                  After a contract has been signed it will only be renegotiated if both sides agree to it. Neither side can just turn around and tell the other they've changed their mind about something and it has to be renegotiated, or the deal's off.
