I'm guessing if the contract had an Immediate rematch clause, it would hold Andy hostage from fighting anyone else unless Hearn and Joshua agreed to some sort of settlement. I don't think that will happen the way Hearn has been chirping about a lawsuit.

Ruiz own trainer said they have to follow the original contract, dont know what more evidence fans want ? Its ridiculous these guys buying into this . Ha
The only thing Ruiz can leverage is money but it doesn't stop the event ,he either gets stripped in the long or short run or he just complies .Those are the only two choices.Comment

You the one saying he's reneging on his deal. That sounds like you have facts. If not you should run comments like that back.
When Eddie was asked specifics on the rematch he gave up no info except saying vague details. This is Eddie remember. This is the mfer who went haywire on Team Ortiz when he had them dead to rites in that situation. If Eddie had the specifics UK fanboys thought he had we'd know them cuz he'd be all too glad to tell them to us.Comment

Yeah, but what about Mexicans? He's Mexican, isn't he?I don’t think Brit’s understand. Americans aren’t soft like they are. If we know we’re worth more we’re going to get it instead of bending over. I know that’s the UK way but not the US way
Contract holdouts are fairly common in American sports. Heck the best RB (arguably) in the NFL is holding out right now and the season starts in a few weeksComment

I think it's pretty safe to assume an IMMEDIATE rematch clause is in there otherwise Hearn wouldn't have any right to bring any kind of lawsuit to force the fight next.
Having the fight in Saudia Arabia is a fking joke, they need to move that **** but if the 70 million is true I can see why they jumped at that offer to have it there.
Throw Ruiz a few more million and call it a day and get the fight on already, boxing is full of fking drama nonstopComment
