They said that they will fight in the US but they are not contractually obligated to as stipulated in the original contract. They only need give a disclosure of the date and venue in a reasonable time for the fighter to train and get his affairs in order. The purse was also already agreed upon as well. That's always the case with rematch clauses built into a champions contract. (AJ was champ when this was negotiated) None of this is new. And no, it's not like anyone has seen the actual contract other than the fighters management themselves.

Here's a link to help you understand if I must provide it.

Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn said Andy Ruiz Jr. will "100 per cent honor" his contract for a rematch with Anthony Joshua in Saudi Arabia after the Mexican-American boxer said the fight would take place in the USA.

    Cheers

Ruiz will fight and crush Joshua again. This is just negotiating talk. Get on the Dubois and Joyce bandwagons. A.J is done!

This was from Hearn not Ruiz or his team, you said they are the ones who said they had no say

if ruiz agreed to something before the fight, he should just stfu and take it. he should be grateful he was given that opportunity in the first place. another fight not getting made and people supporting it...what else is new.

After a contract has been signed it will only be renegotiated if both sides agree to it. Neither side can just turn around and tell the other they've changed their mind about something and it has to be renegotiated, or the deal's off.
And we don’t know exactly how it will play out.

I see people saying that but Ruiz was picked because he is Mexican and tried to piggyback Canelo Alvarez fans

He wasn't given a charity and he made the event so what should he be grateful for?

Never heard anything from Ruiz side suggesting the fight will not be made in fact he always said it's next

He shouldn’t be grateful for the opportunity at the unified hw title? He wasn’t even in the conversation in terms of opponents for the top guys in the division.

Im just a boxing fan,you have been proven to be a liar and a multiple account guy here ,it doesn't matter. If you are 50 plus its hilarious ,that means you're one of those losers with no life so I think weve established that.

You're entitre life is revolved around what AJ does so maybe you're bi sexual to? I don't really care .
