Crawford vs.Thurman! Bob Arum not willing to give the $20M payday to Pacman vs Crawford while paying Crawford $2M or 10 percent? Now a payday of $10M each for Crawford & Thurman is a sure fight.

At age 40 midget Pacman has grown into certified welterweight even though he lost a step and half of his out put of age 30. Pacman is now a real welterweight and not a lightweight vs welterweight.

What's really gonna hurt, is if Crawford has to watch Pacquiao vs. Mikey Garcia! 2 former TR fighters making big money, and he never got to face either one!
Seriously, I imagine that Arum must have quietly promised Crawford a Pacquaio shot when he signed him. For Arum to say that he would intentionally squash a career earning opportunity for his guy is planinly unethical. If at all possible, Crawford should use this stuff to try to break his deal with Top Rank.

On a separate note, Crawford needs to stop sitting by quietly as his career disintegrates. Al Haymon isn't going to do Top Rank any favors, so Bud needs to get out there on social media and do a Shannon Briggs job on Spence and the rest of the WW elite. I know its not his personality to trash talk, but he has to do something now. His prime is quickly getting past him. He's going to sit on his ass for the next year. In late 2020, he'll sign to fight Vergil Ortiz out of desperation for terrible money...and lose.

Arum is all talk n only willing to make a fight if the agree to his terms n the fight happens on ESPN. Arum won't allow Bud to fight off ESPN but expects fighters to fight off their Network n fight on his. Remember Arum wouldn't allow Loma to fight Linares on HBO when they were willing to pay more money.

He should buy out his contract just like Floyd Mayweather, and even Andy Ruiz did! He can't trash talk his way into a fight!

BoxingScene.com has been advised by sources that heavyweight contender Andy Ruiz (31-1, 20 KOs) has signed on with powerful adviser Al Haymon. Haymon works with well over a 100 other fighters and is the founder of Premier Boxing Champions, who have content deals with Showtime and Fox Sports.

Arum told FightHub TV in January that he killed a Pacquiao-Crawford fight because he feared Crawford would badly hurt Pacquiao.

              Bob smiles: I care~

But luckily for Crawford, he will still likely get the big WW fight....Just won't be against Pacquiao. Spence vs Crawford early 2020 sounds good to me, and even if it is in the fall of 2020, that's also fine. Earlier the better of course, but if Spence beats Porter, obviously the #1 fight they will try to make is Pacquiao....Just may not happen though as Pacquiao could end up getting the winner of Garcia vs Garcia if that fight happens later this year.

Arum has already gone on record HOPING and WISHING the Spence/Porter fight is a complete dud like Crawford/Khan. But what if it isn't and it does over 200k buys and around 250k buys? Then what? Will he still try to foolishly ask for 50/50 and act like his fighter is on equal footing with Spence? Will be interesting, can't wait!
it will do over 200 and spence isnt fighting crawford next anyway.

Karma uncle Bob,... See if Abrum would allowed Terence Bud Crawford to put Pac-man to bed I mean sleep, all of PBS fighters would be in line to fight Crawford,..!?!

I know history always repeats itself uncle Bob would probably had Crawford fighting peons like he did with Pacman was fighting in house guys 3 & 4 times,.. with Top Rank,...?!?

All i know is right now Arum and Crawford are both saying they want the fight now and are willing to negotiate while at the same time the likes of Spence and Ellerbe are talking about putting Crawford right at the back of the queue and not being in their plans and have made no efforts to negotiate a fight even on their own terms.

As far as i have heard the only way this fight happens is if Crawford leaves his deal with TopRank and joins the PBC. That is just wrong, a form of extortion but thats what they want.
