I don't believe for a second Arum killed thr fight to save Pacquiao, in fact I don't believe he killed the fight at all.

I vividly remember Crawford repeatedly stating that Manny has to come down to 140 if he wants to fight him.

Arum is just doing damage control to make it look like Crawford is some kind of beast that he had to save Manny from.

Crawford killed the fight coz he didn't want any of that work.

No way was Bud ever afraid to get in the ring with Pac. Not 5yrs ago and definitely not now.

In terms of opposition faced, Crawford is higher in p4p ratings but to say, either man is the king would be unjustified.
Spence was gifted a win against kell brook that was even Stevens before the stoppage by the referee.
Crawford......🤔 his best win I think is against the smaller man at the time, yuriorkis Gamboa. The rest are just fodder that even khant wouldn’t struggle against to look good.
Both men need to do more before being labelled the best.
A fight between these two is a good fight however, I would go with spence for three reasons, he does carry power/speed and he does have a brain which, by far exceeds the ability of anybody Crawford has faced.
Crawford could stay on the outside and extend his arm to good effect (like with khant to negate the speed) and hope for a points win in the hope Errol doesn’t counter with big accuracy shots.
If he jumps into range, spence will hit him.
A KO is not off the table for spence but realistically, arum? American boxing politics? Other options for either man? Big weight division at the moment.

If i'm Crawford, i'm pissed that Arum killed a fight with Pacquiao! That was the "Golden Ticket," not Spence! Crawford should be telling Arum, if you can't get me Spence, get me Pacquiao!

What's really gonna hurt, is if Crawford has to watch Pacquiao vs. Mikey Garcia! 2 former TR fighters making big money, and he never got to face either one!

Bobs a liar never killed that fight, he just never had real intentions on making that fight until he was certain Manny was shot to sh-t & gonna retire for good. He thought he was gonna keep milking Manny and using his name to build Crawfords. Manny ruined his plans by leaving TR after getting tired of Bobs BS.

Remember when Team Pac said they'd take the fight if they would get their $20mill & Bob said he couldn't afford it. Or when Buds team said Manny had to come to 140 to make it happen.

Crawford wanted Pacquiao when they were both with Top Rank but Arum wouldn't make the fight.

Now Pacquiao is on the other side of the street and a huge fight can be made with Errol Spence.

Crawford will just have to wait.

He did initially try that power play, which was very unfortunate for him, but he did change his tone before Manny chose Jeff Horn.

Only problem is Manny didn't choose Jeff Horn, in fact he didn't know who the hell he even was. That was Bob who put that together. Just like Manny didn't choose Alvarado who Bob was trying to push on everyone, which caused Team Pac to make their own deal with Khan & Bob b-tched and moaned and didn't even attempt to help make. To appease manny he got that $10mill guarantee to fight in Australia and the rest is history

Arum didn't want to pay Pacman 20m for a Crawford fight. Crawford made the claim that pacman overpriced himself.
Well, Pacman earns that at PBC now. Top Rank simply didn't want to pit them together knowing Pacman's contract was about to end. If he beat Crawford, top rank won't have anyone left if pacman doesn't extend. Well, top Rank is not making the desired money now from Crawford. Their best chance is Fury.

When the fight does happen everything will be in Errol Spence favor... if he's bringing 2 or 3 belts to the table depending on if he fights Pacman next yr.

& another small piece in the way of that is Manny if he decides to rematch Kieth. That leaves Spence to fight Danny Garcia who is in line for the WBC belt. PBC is in charge no matter how you slice it... from 147 to 154

I dont see Spence vs Crawford happening until 2021 or 2022 or never... at this point it just sucks that Crawford is force to fight bums like Khan.

I hate this wait game... "that fight is still building" is all of the younger boxers favorite line now.

sick spence and crawlford should be stripped of their standings put at the bottom of the ranking fined 5 million each and not allowed to fight for a title for 6 years unless they fight each other within 90 days. their managers should be jailed for defrauding the public. both are two money grubbing sickening cowards who could fight a triology retire with 30-40 million
