Spence vs second rate PBC guys is a joke. Crawford vs Khan and Egidijus is a joke. From the outside it looks like Spence is the chicken. Crawford may have to work his way up to 160 to make superfights with GGG and Canelo or go back down/catchweight where there are plenty of fights(Ramirez/Prograis/Taylor/Loma).

All fighters bicker about PPV buys...if nobody buys their show they have to take more challenging opponents to make better fights/shows.

That goes for PPV AND Network TV. Companies will NOT pay prime Ad time if the event is not going to sell.

If there are EMPTY seats and nobody attends. No sponsors, no national media recognition (ESPN, etc).

Its really pretty simple you suggesting fans have no leverage when, collectively, fans literally have ALL the leverage.

If Crawford wants to fight anyone worth a **** he’s gonna have to put his foot down and tell TR no I want another champion. This kavilskus fight is pointless. It does absolutely nothing for his career no one knows this guy except hardcore fans.

It's no longer just about Arum though is it? ESPN has invested alot in top rank and Terrence Crawford. You think they gonna let him go and make millions for another network?

Conversely, Showtime/Fox and PBC have invested alot in Errol Spence, you think they let him go make money for another network and promoter in ESPN?

There is the real issue here. These people have contrasting duties, obligations, and loyalties.

Crawford has no choice, he has to wait. His best bet is pulling the GGG formula of staying active and brutally knocking out bums while claiming that everyone is ducking him.

While Spence becomes the Canelo of the situation by clearing out the rest of the competition and making a name for himself in super fights.

Once Spence has fought and beat everyone, the fans and the media will push stronger than ever before for him and Crawford to fight.

That's when the fight will be possible, when it can make enough money that a joint ppv is possible without the networks losing money but making profits while at the same time the fighters are getting paid their dues.

For YEARS Top Rank had all the best WWs and only did inhouse fights that froze out his competitors.. the only time he worked with other guys like King or GB was when he knew his guy was gonna win. Gimme fights. Where Arum would repay the favor in a different weight class.
