I guess Crawford didnt think the fans (like YOU) would support duckers and dodgers...no pressure from the public for Spence, Porter, Garcia, or Thurman to fight Crawford.

    Its pathetic.

By that token, you should be mad at TC for failing to go where he could get the best fights. No different from Charlo (160) fans claiming Canelo or GGG is ducking although he didn't go to DAZN knowing every good middleweight is there. Same for any 175 lber not signing with ESPN.

You can't blame the entity for doing what's in there best interest business wise, blame the fighter that clearly knows they are signing somewhere the best fighters aren't available at.

What’s puzzling is that before Pacquiao’s contract with Top Rank expired, Arum never matched Crawford with the all-time Filipono great.

Arum told FightHub TV in January that he killed a Pacquiao-Crawford fight because he feared Crawford would badly hurt Pacquiao.

“I know how it would end... not that I knew that it would end in serious disability for Manny — that I wouldn’t know — but as a fight it would only end one way,” Arum said. “Forget my emotions, I wouldn’t wanna see him take that kind of damage because it might affect his quality of his future life.”

Arum might have saved Pacquiao from Crawford’s crippling power, but now, the Filipino is waiting in the wings for perhaps the same fate from Spence while his idle fighter seeks a star dance partner.
Respect Arum for being such a caring human being! Didn't want little Pacquiao taking a beating so he sacrificed any chance of Crawford becoming a PPV star. Respect to the GOAT!

But luckily for Crawford, he will still likely get the big WW fight....Just won't be against Pacquiao. Spence vs Crawford early 2020 sounds good to me, and even if it is in the fall of 2020, that's also fine. Earlier the better of course, but if Spence beats Porter, obviously the #1 fight they will try to make is Pacquiao....Just may not happen though as Pacquiao could end up getting the winner of Garcia vs Garcia if that fight happens later this year.

Arum has already gone on record HOPING and WISHING the Spence/Porter fight is a complete dud like Crawford/Khan. But what if it isn't and it does over 200k buys and around 250k buys? Then what? Will he still try to foolishly ask for 50/50 and act like his fighter is on equal footing with Spence? Will be interesting, can't wait!

That’s the way boxing works now bro...speakin’ of top rank they’re the gold standard when it comes to in-house fights...Top Rank is being beat by their own game...I know you read in the article where Todd said that they’re running out of in-house fights for Terence...remember all the bull chit and lies told by arum on the honorable Al Haymon???...Who would wanna do business with a guy like Arum???...Terence was scared of all the free smoke over at PBC and stupifly re-signed with Arum but not so ****** because he didn’t wanna take an L...and Top Rank has no competition for Bud...so that L via Spence is comin’...now calm down...only facts were spoken...if bud wanted to fight Spence he wouldn’t have signed with “those guys across the street”...

When the fight does happen everything will be in Errol Spence favor... if he's bringing 2 or 3 belts to the table depending on if he fights Pacman next yr.

& another small piece in the way of that is Manny if he decides to rematch Kieth. That leaves Spence to fight Danny Garcia who is in line for the WBC belt. PBC is in charge no matter how you slice it... from 147 to 154

I dont see Spence vs Crawford happening until 2021 or 2022 or never... at this point it just sucks that Crawford is force to fight bums like Khan.

I hate this wait game... "that fight is still building" is all of the younger boxers favorite line now.

They should make Crawford-Collazo for the fall.

Uncle Al is protecting his 147 fighters from the best 147 fighters, You should not have to leave your promoter and have to sign up with the PBC to get a fight with a PBC fighter but this is what they demand.

Wish Top Rank would learn how to promote black fighters on their own merit.

Great welter fights on the PBC side. Spence has a tough fight ahead. Why isn’t Crawford calling out the many other Welters that represent a tough step up fight at 147. Those fights would be just as big for Terrence.
