Great welter fights on the PBC side. Spence has a tough fight ahead. Why isn’t Crawford calling out the many other Welters that represent a tough step up fight at 147. Those fights would be just as big for Terrence.
what about white oriental Hispanic fighters? the hell with them. you are a viscous savage black supremacist racist. I will now try to seek out a safe space

      September 6, 2018:

Welterweight world titlist Terence Crawford, one of boxing's pound-for-pound elite fighters, signed a contract extension with promoter Top Rank on Thursday, the same day the company announced details of his first defense.

The first fight of Crawford's new promotional deal will take place against unbeaten contender Jose Benavidez Jr. in Crawford's hometown of Omaha, Nebraska, at the CHI Health Center on Oct. 13 (ESPN and ESPN Deportes, 10:30 p.m. ET with the full card streaming on ESPN+ beginning at 7 p.m. ET).

The 30-year-old Crawford (33-0, 24 KOs), who has been with Top Rank since 2011, still had about two years remaining on his deal with Top Rank but both sides were happy to do a new one.

Crawford's new contract comes a month after the announcement of the agreement between Top Rank and ESPN on a new seven-year rights deal that runs until August 2025.

Crawford said the alliance between the promotional company and network was a key reason for his decision to re-sign well before he would have become a free agent.

"I am the best fighter in the world, hands down. ESPN is the biggest brand in sports and Top Rank is the biggest promotional company in boxing," Crawford said. "This was a no-brainer for me and my team. All of the super fights that the world wants to see will happen. Mark my words. Like I've said before, I want all of the champions in the welterweight division."

Terence Crawford, who signed a new contract with Top Rank on Thursday, will defend his welterweight title vs. unbeaten contender Jose Benavidez Jr. on Oct. 13.

That was only a year ago! The man never gave you Pacquiao, and you still signed the deal! Now you can't get DSG, Mikey, Porter, Thurman, Spence, nor Pacquiao! Hindsight is 20/20!

Once Manny decides he isnt fighting Spence who else can Spence fight worthy of PPV besides Crawford?

Saul "Canelo" Alvarez! The question is who can Bud fight to get a PPV without Spence?

The best are fighting the best?! Spence, Porter, Pac, Thurman, and Garcia are half of the world's top ten 147lb boxers! Bud will just have to wait his turn, if it comes. PBC has an excellent stable of welterweights for ESJ to fight. Arun had MG and Pac, but didn't match them with Crawford , so that's Top Rank's fault.

Arum did right by not throwing Pac into the ICU with Crawford....Bob understands/respects Pac as family man, well loved, didn't want to see Pac damaged for life..

This has been the #1 fight I’ve wanted to see going on 2 years. I love both guys and think it’s the 2nd coming of Hagler-Leonard 32 years later. It’s a damn shame you have Bud ready to dance and Errol just keeps talking about sides of the street. He’s not afraid of Bud but he wants to cash some more checks before he takes that risk cuz it’s definitely a risk. Spence-Porter is not PPV worthy cuz we know how that’s going to end. Mikey brought a lot of those buys when he fought Spence. This fight is a PPV fight for sure. Best fighting the best. Tell your people to make it happen Errol. It could be an amazing trilogy where you both bank retirement money.

                    Ppv?

Spence vs Crawford a PPV? It should be in regular programming. They can’t even break even.

If Crawford wants to fight anyone worth a **** he’s gonna have to put his foot down and tell TR no I want another champion. This kavilskus fight is pointless. It does absolutely nothing for his career no one knows this guy except hardcore fans.
