I'm not the least bit surprised that an American would support something so brattish and cowardly. You'd have a completely different opinion if it were an American fighter having this done to him. But your bias is so extreme you don't care. No wonder the world hates you creatures. You f3cking disgust me.

Getting someone to sign a contract under duress creates the potential for this type of situation to manifest. Obviously Ruiz had to sign the contract in front of him for the first fight. naturally Ruiz wants to better his position and knows he is a valuable part of the rematch. I don't claim to speak about who is right, or wrong... What I just stated is a fact.

Ruiz will naturally do what favors his position...He knows that Joshua needs him for this rematch and if he will benefit from breaking the rematch clause, he shall do so.

Forcing performance contractually is only easy when contracts are written benefitting both parties at Arm's length. THIS WAS NOT AN ARM'S LENGTH CONTRACT...It was a contract benefitting the champion. Ruiz was negotiating as one who was being given an opportunity. Writing the contract is half the battle isn't it? Now with so many things in play, like the things you mention, Hearns has to find a way to force performance.

That is my take. One cannot simply say "well a contract is a contract." It does not always work that way. I agree with you just explicating my take.
Ruiz signed the contract under duress? WTF are you on about now? No he didn't.

      • So , isn’t AJ changing the contract by staging the fight in a different place
Pretty sure Saudi Arabia was not on that list
So , isn’t the contract void
Ruiz can ask for more money although all the Hearn nuthuggers or platform cheerleaders are screaming fughin murder

What list? are you making claims that the contract had a list of host nations? Care to show me the evidence of this?

That is not what I am saying and I don’t know anything for a fact the same way you don’t know chit
Although you kick up big dust you still don’t know what the fugh is on that contract
Usually when there is a rematch clause they usually specify the locations that will be taken into consideration , chosen by your guru Eddie
Now SA probably wasn’t on it , wouldn’t that change the contract as a whole

suck a d1ck and die. That colonizer Hearn is trying to drug up his mandigo warrior in some sandpit and rob Ruiz both financially and of his belts. Of course i am biased against a liar and the son of an admitted slave trader. Kick rocks and burn in hell loser

              • Ruiz was given the opportunity by AJ's
Team and made sure in the contract that should AJ lose the fight that they would still be in control of the 're match and Ruiz signed it as if Ruiz should Win the
're match then future Fights Ruiz will be in control of everything and that's one of the benefits of being the Champion as is getting the bigger peice of the Fight Money which will all come to Ruiz should He hold his Title and that's a Big If as AJ just wasn't right for that fight as it's been stated already many times but for AJ to tell his corner in the early rounds 2 or 3 that he just didn't feel right in the fight and Now he's getting back to normal and wanting this Fight !!

                • Funny how the Joshua haters are lining up for the Ruiz Fan Club convention. Let me help you kiddies who are now whining your guts out about some imaginary say that Ruiz supposedly has in this....

"...Joshua called for (a rematch) through a clause in their fight contract. The agreement also specified how much Ruiz Jr. would make for such a fight, along with the concession that Joshua and Hearn would determine where the event would take place...."

WHAT part of that CONTRACT do you not understand?

"...Others have indicated the safety risks involved along with human rights concerns, particularly treatment towards women and ****sexuals as well as the nation’s involvement in the assassination of Saudi dissident and Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi last October, which has gone unpunished...."

I am totally against doing ANY biz with the Saudis. They are evil, lawless and disgusting, and it's even more disgusting that the blimp in our WH does biz with them gleefully. But, again, a contract is a contract. So Ruiz needs to just shut up and show up for the fight at the location Joshua and his people have chosen. That's basically what the contract is saying in so many words. IF Ruiz is as good as the Ruiz Fan Club claims he is... what's the problem? Bottom line: You and I have absolutely no say in this matter. I'll just be glad to hear the bell ring for Round 1, and will enjoy a good fight.

there is nothing to abide by ,Ruiz has already signed the pre existing one and the current one otherwise he would challenge Hearn ,its not happening and that's because hes just lying to you guys . AJ doesn't get hurt because the civil lawsuit is on ruiz in court and a permenant injunction leaned on him ,that's why this is nonsense and the fight is going on with with Ruiz SET amount and Joshuas who gets whatever the event has grown to,with or without ruiz its all the same.
Void is a different concept than voidable. Yes flexible that was the point being made... When i say renegotiate I mean that concessions were made...however one wants to word that. because contract has to have consideration, incentive to fufill it.

The contract is voidable due to Ruiz winning?? No wonder you think one of the biggest morons on the forum is talking sense. Haha. Makes perfect sense.
                      I never said that.
