Ruiz should be the #1 contender to the lineal title as WBA/IBF/WBO hwt champ. Wilder #2 as the WBC champ. Fury #3 and AJ #4 and Ortiz #5. I have no problem with Fury being #2 since I had him winning the Wilder fight.
Fury was not "stripped"... TBRB just honored his hour-long retirement...

A retirement is a retirement, no matter how long it is...

Anyway, it's settled now that the contenders for the vacant Lineal Heavyweight title are Ruiz and Fury... That would be a good fight...

Both AJ fights against Whyte & Parker, he won both of those fights soundly, no controversy

Parker wasn't supposed to lose to Whyte. Remember, he was considered the class of the division along with Joshua & Wilder when Fury was doped up, before the AJ fight.

        The point stands

Yup, and that doesn't change whether he's Ranked #1 or not.

I would give the top spot to Deontay Wilder. Not to some notorious doping, juicing drug cheat who pops dirty for PEDS and banned substances like Tyson Fury.

Wilder has been the most consistent clean fighter in the division for the past four years and has never been implicated or popped dirty for any banned substances. I still say that Fury's win over Wladimir Klitschko should be null and void and ruled a No Contest; Because he popped dirty for doping in his penultimate fight with Christian Hammer.

For all we know he could've been juiced up for both the Klitschko and Wilder fights as well. UKAD is joke and he didn't sign up for the VADA testing protocol until several weeks well into his training camp for the Wilder bout.

TBRB took their recognition off Fury when he vacated his remaining WBA, WBO, and IBO belts to focus on his mental health and substance abuse problems. It was weird because you can't vacate a lineal title. You either lose it in the ring, move to another weight class, or retire. Fury didn't do any of that. He is a drug cheat, but that was for his fight against Hammer. He didn't test positive for PEDs for the Klitschko fight.

In addition, he popped dirty for doping just prior to his Wladimir Klitschko victory which should have have been ruled a no contest because he was juicing and cheating at the time.

So basically Wilder failed a cherry pick attempt in Fury because Fury hadn't done anything (in your words) since losing 140 lbs destroying his body with drugs and alcohol for nearly 3 years to the point of breaking himself mentally as well and therefore logically should've still been soft.

Don't see how you could justify Wilder seeing it as a competitive bout from what you say.

                  Wilder is a cherry picker.

His best victory before AJ was against Dimitrenko FFS.

Meanwhile Wilder & Fury are undefeated
Anyone can choose to be undefeated. It's easy. You pick guys who can't beat you.

To top the rankings you have to beat someone. To be their champion you have to beat another champion contender.

Ruiz beat AJ. His best win was a couple of weeks ago and came against a guy who was ranked 1 after beating Klitschko, Parker (ranked 3), Povetkin (ranked 3).

Wilder has beaten one guy of note. Luis Ortiz. Luis Ortiz has beaten no-one of note. In their book he then lost to a comeback Fury.

Fury meanwhile has beaten Klitschko. It was years ago and he popped plus retired afterwards but he still did it. TBRB are also treating his fight against Wilder as a win. Feel free to disagree but that's what they've done.

The rankings make sense. You can't make any case for Wilder being number 1 until he actually beats someone of note, like Ruiz did.

Bullshit! Wilder fought Fury on the rebound because Joshua ducked him to fight Povetkin instead. Those are the facts. Fury wasn't anywhere on Wilder's radar until Fury approached him about a fight. It was Anthony Joshua who Wilder wanted all along but AJ didn't have the balls to do what Fury did and that was to fight him and get in the same ring as the "Bronze Bomber".
