I have never said Ortiz sucks- but he has never PROVED to be in the same league as Povetkin by beating similar sort of opponents consistently.

    The rest is pure fantasy.

What exactly has he done other than lose and lose BADLY to the best guys he faced?
You know a guy is a total idiot newbie when he writes like the above.

and all of those guys are miles better than any Ortiz win, thanks for proving my point.

I feel like Wilder-Ortiz II would go down similar to Wilder-Stiverne II. Bit of a dud fight, and I'm a Wilder fan. Ortiz was only ever rated highly by Wilder diehards. I'd rather see Wilder fight a combination of Adam Kownacki, Jarrell Miller, Joseph Parker and/or Dillian Whyte.
We would love to see King Kong/Fury/aj. What's funny is that team aj didn't want to pay King Kong to get the match on so I guess he is not a "dud."

He's only a dud opponent if you're a champion, you've beaten him before and he has no meaningful wins since the last meeting.

To others outside of the top 5, he is a credible name who is slowing down and hasn't looked good at all recently.

It just blows my mind, he proved himself vs Jennings and Jennings proved himself vs Wlad.

Even pedvetkins best win in like the past decade was Bryant Jennings leftovers Perez who was literally drunk in the ring.

            Everywhere else you're reaching.
The game you play can also be used against you. "Jennings was competitive against an old Wlad."

Nobody can answer the question, what has Luis Ortiz done or acheived that makes you rate him so highly?

Dillian Whyte's recent resume ****es all over Ortiz' whole career. Joseph Parker is a former World champion with better wins than Ortiz. Alexander Povetkin is a former World champion and an Olympic gold medallist. Kubrat Pulev is a former two-time European champion with a much better resume than Ortiz.

Povetkin hasn’t looked good for years. Ortiz is a higher skilled fighter who appears to have more left in the tank despite both being 39 and 40. (And please don’t don’t use the pathetic “Ortiz is actually 50” nonsense)
What has Ortiz done that trumps winning an Olympic gold 15 years ago, and the "REGULAR WBA" title?

We’re not talking who’s had a better career we’re talking who’s a better fighter currently. Stop trying to move the goalposts.

Ortiz’s current level of performance has been higher than Povetkin’s. Povetkin hasn’t even had a good performance since being popped tbh. He even had difficulty with David Price. Povetkin has definitely regressed, that’s indisputable.

He rocked him so there is intrigue that he can hurt Wilder if he can get to him but that's where it's at. I think Ortiz has lost a big step in the past two to three years but he's still very dangerous if he can reach you on the button

Are you suggesting he is getting more than $7m to fight Wilder??

Because, IMHO, $7m for Ortizn't is very overpaid.

Luis' quack is almost as loud as Widlers

so the same posters who defended fury not fighting wilder next and were defending the talks of dylian whyte being ajs next opponent for a rematch and cried that wilder got too much time to recover vs Ortiz are now crying over this fight? when I saw Ortiz come into the ring after the 1st round KO I knew what time it was.
