Is Luis Ortiz a dud opponent at this point?

He has no name value. Nobody knows who he is. He hasn't been keeping relevant by fighting other contenders. Casual boxing fans don't even know who he is. He's at least 50 years old. Is anyone genuinely excited to see him get a payday against Fury, AJ or Wilder?

I feel like Wilder-Ortiz II would go down similar to Wilder-Stiverne II. Bit of a dud fight, and I'm a Wilder fan. Ortiz was only ever rated highly by Wilder diehards. I'd rather see Wilder fight a combination of Adam Kownacki, Jarrell Miller, Joseph Parker and/or Dillian Whyte.

He struggled against Hammer and after Wilder's fight, he was looking like a Cuban Larry Holmes.

At this point, I'd rather see Wilder fight Larry Holmes and give rematches to Scorniers and Audley Harrison than watch him fight Ortiz. At least, Larry Holmes has a far better resume than Ortiz will ever dream of. And they're both old, flabby and sick.

considering everyone says Ortiz was robbed and wilder got extra time to recover, you all should be happy. but at this point anyone wilder, aj, or fury fights outside of each other wont really have much of a hype, so its life. I in particular don't care too much for the fight but ill watch it. we wont see any of the fights we want until maybe 2021 to be honest

If Ortiz is a dud, what does that make Andy Ruiz or Tom Schwarz?

Ortiz is clearly still a top 5 HW, and that shows just how poor the HW division is.

Until the top 3 fight one another the division remains irrelevant.

Yep. Ortiz will be better than Ruiz, Charr, Bryan or Pulev will be.

I really like Ortiz but the rematch is unnecessary. Everything the top three do for a while will be irrelevant. I'll probably be more interested in watching Ajagba and Hrgovic develop than anything they do tbh.

              Name 5 better.
The division is weak AF, Ortiz is clearly top 5.

I’m more interested in the prospects myself. The best HW matchup this year will be Dubois-Gorman. That’s how bad this division is😂😂

Lol yeah. I'm kinda leaning Gorman on that one.

He hasn't struggle against anyone. Why do you say that? He completely dominated him.
