This could be an exciting style matchup but canelo is too big, too strong and too skilled for Spence. Spence should be fighting Crawford, if this ridiculous fight happens Errol would probably move down to 154 after the loss and we’ll never see a unification between the top two prime welters in this decade

Yes Spence is stronger then Floyd not sure Lara since Lara is much bigger and dropped and hurt much bigger fighters then Spence. Spence is strong for 147 but we don't even know how that will translate to 154 and and damn sure 160. Mikey Garcia is a massive puncher at 135 at 147 he couldn't hurt Spence and had dramatically less power even at a 140. And Spence is NOT more athletic then Spence. I'll say it again Canelo is more floyd like then Spence is. He is more slick, better defensively and all around skilled.

Yup same thing as Canelo who had NO amateur career learned to fight on the job in the pros. Didn't move to the US and start fighting real prospect level opponents until he was 19. And in like 3 years time fought floyd mayweather the number 1 p4P fighter in the world and maybe the greatest fighter of the last 3 decades and was a underdog not a big favorite like Spence was against Brook. yup the same damn thing. No difference in opponent or how much experience Spence had by the time he fought damage goods Brook. Lord you idiots around here.
Canelo's first 35 fights all in hole in wall fights in Mexican as a teenager against similar level opponents that most American boxers are facing in amateurs with head gear on. Canelo despite no amatuer or oympics experience was fighting quality of opponents Spence is now fighting at age 29 when he was 21 years old. At 29 Spence has yet to even fight even 1 elite welterweight yet. It's a joke to even compare the work Canelo put in to get where he is at compared to Spence who's even older and his best name is Mikey who he dragged up 2 weight classes and hasnt yet faced the top guys in his own weight class. Canelo has cleaned out Middleweight and that's 1 of 3 weight classes he's been world champ at. How many losses would Spence have already if he fought Floyd and all the elite fighters Canelo has already faced? Let alone if he fought Floyd at the age Canelo did. Canelo should only fight guys like Bundu at age 27 just to stay undefeated like Spence right? lol
Canelo didn't get those fights because he was braver or more willing to fight challengers, he got those fights because he has a huge fanbase and generates revenue. When you generate revenue you get better fighters to fight you because the sales you generate can pay them more.
Added to that, names will not fight high risk/no reward opponents when they have name guys who will help drive sales available. They will however jump to fight guys that generate revenue.
It's why ODH fought Vargas early and waited so long to fight Floyd.
Give Canelo absolute credit for his resume, but understand why Spence doesn't have the same level of opponent rushing to fight him.

Floyd has much faster hands than Canelo, as does Spence. That might allow him to land at a more accurate rate. I agree with you about Canelo being hard to hit but the guys we are discussing all have slower hand speed, except Floyd.
As for footwork, I think Spence is faster than all but Lara and Floyd, we agree. My point is those are the 2 fights he consensus lost. If Spence footwork is faster than all the other guys except these 2 (which I think so) then he has a solid chance to win.
If you are correct about the athleticism and footwork, well then Canelo is going to win 9 or 10 rounds easily.

Well at least Spence didn't cheat to beat anyone unlike meat boy Canelo who has to have every advantage in order to win. Rehydration clauses, PEDS, marinating, judges, catch weights, redballs does it all.
