Spence is not slick or difficult to hit like Floyd and Lara. Floyd because of his defense and Lara because he runs from you Lara doesn't even have great or above average defense when he stays in the pocket he gets hit and dropped like in the fight with Angulo. When he stayed in the pocket Canelo was landing on him he didn't like that so he ran and disgraced himself. If Spence runs and doesn't fight he isn't even as fast as Lara and Canelo is way way way better dealing with guys who move and run from him today then when he was younger. He will punish you to the body if you do that shyt.

Jacobs studied the Lara and Floyd fight tried everything moving, jabbing, switching southpaw, none of it worked and I've seen more tools in Jacobs bag to out box Canelo then I have seen from Spence is smaller, less reach, slower footwork, and a WORSE jab then jacobs who has always had a great jab since the amateurs. And he couldn't touch Canelo.

Folks acting like it's easy to beat Canelo off a loss to Floyd when nobody can do what Floyd can do and acting like Canelo isn't a totally different fighter today. Like he hasn't improved every fight. Floyd fought Canelo when he was young and it was his first EVER headline of a PPV fight. His first big event. Canelo is just now approaching his physical prime age and has now had about 10 HUGE big PPV events and fought a mountain of elite fighters since. His experience is through the roof he's fought every stye combined with his age is just now entering his peak. And there are no other Floyd's roaming this earth. Spence is NOT Floyd and doesn't fight anything like Floyd or Lara for that matter. Slick, defensive a great mover in the ring has never been uttered to describe Spence lol

If one fighter is more like floyd and slick and defensive it's Canelo NOT Spence. He has no chance in outboxing Canelo when better jabbers and movers then him couldn't. Oscar, like Arum, does not have legit opponents on his roster for his star fighter. Both are calling out Spence because they are desperate for an opponent that boxing fans will respect. I think ESPN is putting pressure on Arum, and I wouldn’t be surprised if DAZN is putting heat on Oscar to come up with great opponents to make mega fights.

Completely disagree on that, Oscar/Canelo have all the options in the world Callum Smith, Andrade, GGG, Charlo brother, Hurd, Dereviachenko, Munguia, Surdo Ramirez, Kovalev, etc. etc.

Now you tell me what options does Spence have? Garcia, Porter and Thurman, but Thurman already made it clear he is not fighting Spence, and Spence made it clear he is not fighting Crawford. so who needs who? the Cash cow has infinite options specially when he is willing to go up in weight and fight the best, Compared to Spence, Jr.

Spence may lose on that, Canelo is on a strict, rigorous VADA 24/7 - 365 year round, as far as Spence, we don't know if he ever did drug testing let alone VADA testing.

Ahahahahahahaha I never debated that Clen-elo won but he didn't "beat the sh it out of" Cotto. The decision was a fair one though, no complaints here. However, GGG beat Clen-elo moreso than Clen-elo beat Cotto though.

Again, I'm actually a huge Mikey Garcia fan and watched him beat up on Juanma and Rocky Martinez here in TX. Didn't feel good because obviously everyone has pride in their ethnicity but that made me more of a fan of Garcia. (Garcia vs Loma I'd love to see and actually favor Garcia but that's a different story)
Spence vs Clen-elo hasn't happened, my opinions are just that, just like everyone else's. I just don't see what others see in Clen-elo when GGG beat him twice already. Unfortunately, when others don't agree with another person's opinions on here, you guys take it too personal and start reaching for excuses and/or expose your own hatred towards other ethnicities instead of sticking to just boxing. I'm at peace and have too many friends from all backgrounds, all of which bring something different to the table, to go down to that level of hatred and racism. Sad attempt, "chico", try focusing on boxing!

Errol Spence Jr.-Shawn Porter in the works for August 3rd on FOX

According to Mike Coppinger, the anticipated welterweight unification match between Errol Spence Jr. and Shawn Porter is “likely to take place” August 3rd at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, headlining a PBC on FOX card.

The fight would unify Spence’s (25-0, 21 KO) IBF title with Porter’s (30-2-1, 17 KO) WBC belt...

Still, these are two of the top five fighters at their weight going at it on free TV, which is something the boxing world desperately needs more of. It’s almost certainly going to be plenty entertaining, too, as Spence is pure excitement and Porter’s always good for a scrap.

It amazes me how many so called boxing fans would rather see top P4P guys fight inferior competition in their home divisions. Instead of seeking out other top P4P guys at or around their home division in order to make the big superfights happen. All these belts and unification garbage is making people ******.

The point I'm trying to make is that Garcia vs Spence was a waste of time and money, I loved those two guys but I knew Spence was gonna obliterate Garcia, Garcia should've looked for that Loma fight and growing in to welterweight before thinking in Spence.

Canelo vs Spence right now is the same thing, Spence is gonna get beat, why fight now and get washed out when you can wait some time and make for a bigger and a better fight worth everyone's money and time.

I don't like mismatches I like competitive fights between top boxers and no I don't support fighters avoiding bigger challenges.

Of course Brook didn't follow the blueprint! He tried to out-muscle GGG! He was 176 on the 30-day weigh-in! Spence doesn't have to do that! He could rehydrate to 160, and still win, if he listens to Sugar! I'm all in, and have been for quite some time!

Glad you brought that up because I love that Clen-elo fans like to make excuses as to why Mayweather completely dominated him. "Oh, he was too green" Clen-elo already had 40+ fights when they fought, Spence had half that many when he fought Brook, yet he still won; Clen-elo didn't.

Canelo was what 22 when he fought floyd? Spence is 29 right now and was 27 when he fought Brook. Amateur career, olympics and years fighting in pros and still at 27 is when he finally faced his first real challenge...a damaged goods Brook coming off a destruction of GGG. Yup same thing as Canelo who had NO amateur career learned to fight on the job in the pros. Didn't move to the US and start fighting real prospect level opponents until he was 19. And in like 3 years time fought floyd mayweather the number 1 p4P fighter in the world and maybe the greatest fighter of the last 3 decades and was a underdog not a big favorite like Spence was against Brook. yup the same damn thing. No difference in opponent or how much experience Spence had by the time he fought damage goods Brook. Lord you idiots around here.

Canelo's first 35 fights all in hole in wall fights in Mexican as a teenager against similar level opponents that most American boxers are facing in amateurs with head gear on. Canelo despite no amatuer or oympics experience was fighting quality of opponents Spence is now fighting at age 29 when he was 21 years old. At 29 Spence has yet to even fight even 1 elite welterweight yet. It's a joke to even compare the work Canelo put in to get where he is at compared to Spence who's even older and his best name is Mikey who he dragged up 2 weight classes and hasnt yet faced the top guys in his own weight class. Canelo has cleaned out Middleweight and that's 1 of 3 weight classes he's been world champ at. How many losses would Spence have already if he fought Floyd and all the elite fighters Canelo has already faced? Let alone if he fought Floyd at the age Canelo did. Canelo should only fight guys like Bundu at age 27 just to stay undefeated like Spence right? lol
