Stop being one of these new aged boxing fans that’s scared to see their favs lose Spence and Canelo are a helluva lot closer in natural size than Roy and Oscar even were. Let Spence dare to be great. And if he gets his ass kicked, so be it. He can go back down to WW where nobody is gonna beat him. Maybe accept Crawford.

Ok let's okay play this out how is he going to beat canelo by outboxing him using range and jabs? That's what Jacobs thought and he is a better boxer then Spence taller and longer and has a better jab and is also a switch hitter and he looked foolish missing badly trying to box canelo.

Is he going to try and **** with Canelo? GGG is bigger, stronger more aggressive and before he fought Canelo as hyped as Spence is now and the best body puncher in boxing. Against Canelo he was shook of those counters and literally refused to throw any body shots and Canelo walked him down broke his face and beat the Mexican Style out his azzz and GGG has maybe the best iron chin in boxing and is a phuking middleweight. If spence takes even 1 of those bombs GGG was eating he is done.

The fight will play out exactly like Mikey Spence. Mikey also a aggressive fighter...against guys his own size or smaller but fought shook and tried to outbox spence and that's Spence only chance against Canelo except he's not very fast and much better boxers couldn't outbox canelo and spence won't either he will go into survival mode or get KOd if he takes any risks and tries to **** with canelo. Canelo counter punching and boxing skills are too great for Spence. His IQ and defense, slickness alone will confuse Spence.

Got idiots saying no big deal Spence spars with Charlo at 154... remember about HOW GGG spars with kovalev and light heavyweights? How did that help him against Canelo? lol GGG much bigger puncher couldn't hurt Canelo but Spence who doesn't hit as hard can? Mikey challenged Spence and got beat down, GOLDENBOY wants their SMW Champion to fight a WW Champion, after they wanted their MW Champion to fight a retired WW Champion....How about canelo vs wilder?....nah its a certain group that wants brown on brown crime to evolve.....dont fall for it brown brothers.

Jacbos has a great jab he just couldn't land it on Canelo that's the phuking point!

Laughing at some of the comments all a sudden Spence is floyd or Lara? He doesn't fight like either guy. He has never been slick or defensive wizard or uses a lot of foot movement. He is more a seek and destroy high knock out fighter he has some skills but is his bread and butter. Canelo is more Floyd like then Spence is or has EVER been. FACT if they fought each other the better skilled and slick fighter is Canelo not Spence.

Jacobs thought he was going to be the better skilled and elusive fighter. He has a way better jab then Spence and is a switch hitter and can move in the ring. He trained to throw over 1000 punches in that fight and dance move, jab and outwork and confuse canelo. But couldn't land or deal with canelo's skills and after the fight said..."he was very hard to hit he's very slick". Jacobs has all the tools and skills to move and box better then Spence and this is what he looked like out there lol

His switching up was the primary reason he lost rounds. When he went southpaw he didn't throw and got tagged repeatedly. It surely didn't look like he trained to throw that many punches. That or he just abandoned that gameplan.

Jacobs did his best work when he fought in close and fought conventional rather than southpaw.

I think that the size differential is just too great. Canelo is speaking about fighting at Light heavyweight for crying out loud while Spence is still just a welterweight. I just don't think that it's even possible for those two to meet; Perhaps six years from now but definitely not at the moment.

I don't know that Jacobs is a better boxer than Spence. He definitely isn't faster.

Spence is faster and more athletic than Canelo. The 2 fights Canelo had the most difficulty-Floyd and Lara-were him against faster, more athletic guys.

Spence seems to have much more power than both those guys, although his defense isn't anywhere near as good, nor is his footwork.

Spence is strong for 147 but we don't even know how that will translate to 154 and and damn sure 160. Mikey Garcia is a massive puncher at 135 at 147 he couldn't hurt Spence and had dramatically less power even at a 140. And Spence is NOT more athletic then Spence. I'll say it again Canelo is more floyd like then Spence is. He is more slick, better defensively and all around skilled.

As does Luis Ortiz but it still didn't stop you guys from insinuating that he was still doping, while currently being enrolled in the VADA's year round Clean Boxing Program too. All because he refused to fight Anthony Joshua. Why did you guys feel that way; It's because just like Canelo Alvarez, he popped dirty before in the past? So it left a lot of you guys su****ious and the same goes for Canelo.

I don't agree with you that Jacobs is a better boxer than Spence. I don't agree he is faster on his feet than Spence, He definitely doesn't have faster hands.

I agree Spence doesn't box and move like Floyd or Lara. I do think Spence is more athletic than canelo. canelo looked athletic and Jacobs, Fielding and GGG but not Floyd or Lara since they are smaller and faster.

Canelo's defense was outstanding IMO against Jacobs at times. No question.

When talking about Spence's power, I wasn't suggesting he would knock Canelo out.
