In any case, no, I actually have Loma at #1 and TC at #2. Nothing this weekend changed that at all but then again, I haven't ranked Clen-elo in the P4P ratings since he was caught. At one point, I used to like Clen-elo and rooted for him when he first fought GGG as I couldn't stand how arrogant GGG had become but once he cheated, that was it.
Never said Jacobs wasn't good but he's definitely on the decline. I still believe he could beat Clen-elo in a rematch if his team stopped telling him he was winning rounds when he wasn't but that's neither here nor there.
None of this has to do with color but hey, these discussions always end up with name-calling and racism once FACTS are presented or if someone happens to have a different opinion. It is what it, we're all just hoes and somehow that's relevant to boxing discussions.

Spence has reach, height, better body puncher and significantly better conditioning. Power is probably equal because Canelo isn't really knocking out guys who matter.

I don't agree with you that Jacobs is a better boxer than Spence. I don't agree he is faster on his feet than Spence, He definitely doesn't have faster hands.

I agree Spence doesn't box and move like Floyd or Lara. I do think Spence is more athletic than canelo. canelo looked athletic and Jacobs, Fielding and GGG but not Floyd or Lara since they are smaller and faster.

Canelo's defense was outstanding IMO against Jacobs at times. No question.

When talking about Spence's power, I wasn't suggesting he would knock Canelo out.

I think Jacobs was overrated based on his performance against GGG when Gennady was seen as this indestructible machine. The GGG hyped Jacobs as this elite talent that he’s never been as damage control to the then GGG hype train.

His switching up was the primary reason he lost rounds. When he went southpaw he didn't throw and got tagged repeatedly. It surely didn't look like he trained to throw that many punches. That or he just abandoned that gameplan.

Jacobs did his best work when he fought in close and fought conventional rather than southpaw.

Like I said go watch 40 Days they laid out the gameplan and talk about during his sparring session they were counting punches and said we need 100 punches every round. He lost almost all the round until middle of the fight when he switched southpaw around the 7th or 8th round. So he lost rounds southpaw and traditional. He switched to try and confuse canelo and because what he was already doing wasn't working. I agree he fought better later when he had a few spurts later in the fight where he fought closer and stopped trying to move and jab which clearly wasn't working because canelo was too slick for that.

Canelo is very intelligent and skilled can fight many ways at multiple distances. There is a reason other then Floyd NOBODY lands a lot of shots and definitely not a lot of clean shots on him. And that includes Lara who ran and finished the fight landing just a paltry 100 punches off 28% connecting. Jacobs moved tried to box and only landed 20% of his shots. GGG only landed 30% the first fight and only 26% the second fight. Canelo is very very hard to hit great offensive fighters struggle to hit him let alone consistently cleanly. Spence is not outboxing canelo when fighters faster (again I'm talking footwork) and/or with better jabs couldn't do it. And nope I don't think Spence is more athletic then Canelo. lol Canelo is more slick then Spence. What are you basing him being more athletic on cause it damn sure isn't his fights.

I surely didn't think he was going to beat Canelo after losing to GGG and beating Derevchenko given they don't have Canelo's footspeed, dexterity, athleticism, agility or balance.

Spence on the other hand seems to have all these traits which makes it a fascinating matchup IMO.

If bigdunny1 is correct and Canelo proves to be the better boxer and more athletic than Spence then we could see a complete drubbing akin to Floyd/manny.

The difference is that, KO or no KO, Spence is completely dominating his fights, regardless of who he fights. Clen-elo gets gift decisions and struggles against declining boxers.

I think that the size differential is just too great. Canelo is speaking about fighting at Light heavyweight for crying out loud while Spence is still just a welterweight. I just don't think that it's even possible for those two to meet; Perhaps six years from now but definitely not at the moment.
