This fight would be pointless unless Spence first unifies/becomes undisputed by beating Crawford. Even then its a fight with a known outcome but it would be the undisputed welterweight fighting the undisputed middleweight which carries some more legitimacy.

Canelo does nearly everything better than spence, while being significantly larger and faster. Spence's sole advantage is reach/height.

I dont know when Canelo will get his second loss, but it damn sure isnt going to be to someone who is both smaller and slower.

Yeah Oscar, Spence should move up to fight Canelo Alvarez just as you should have moved up to fight Roy Jones, Jr but refused because your excuse was that he was too heavy. If Canelo really wants to fight Spence, then let him do it a catch weight of a 154lbs.

By the time Spence reaches 160 Canelo may be retired because his body is slowly breaking down due to all the years of juicing. If he doesn't start cycling soon his knee is only going to get progressively worse. There's only so much muscle mass a body can carry before it begins to shut down.

When exactly should Oscar have moved up to fight Roy? Oscar turned pro in 92 as a LW and won his first world title in 94 at JLW. Roy was the MW champ at that time and beat Toney for the SMW title later that year. Roy won the LHW title at the end of 96. Oscar was campaigning at JWW at the time. Roy remained the LHW champ until 04. During his reign, Oscar won belts at WW, JMW, and MW. Are you suggesting he should have gone up two more divisions to fight Roy?

Stop being one of these new aged boxing fans that’s scared to see their favs lose Spence and Canelo are a helluva lot closer in natural size than Roy and Oscar even were. Let Spence dare to be great. Wasn’t aware that there was a rule stating that Spence can’t go back down to WW for the precious unifications you new fight fans love so much AFTER he has a superfight with Canelo?

This is just Oscar trying to use his pitbull to get revenge on Spence for what he said about him. Haymon is too smart to advise Spence to fight Canelo on his terms at this time or in the near future. There is much work to be done at 147 and there are still fights for Canelo.

Canelo literally does everything better then Spence but is also bigger lol

Canelo is faster, stronger, better defense, more skilled, smarter hell he is even younger so Spence don't even have youth on him. Spence loses badly. There isn't a single thing Spence does better then guys Canelo has already beaten he can't show him nothing new to bother him.

Garcia had options but chose to move up in weight classes. Spence still got options and has no need to move up to make great fights in his current weight class.

Then he don't want the fight. Canelo is a full 160 and the cash cow in boxing pays you more then anyone you will ever fight and you just made Mikey go up 2 weight classes you didn't say ok I will meet you at 140. Saying I would do it but at 154 means I don't want that smoke. So then keep canelo name out your mouth and stay in your lane bullying small 147lbers. In truth he needs to fight Crawford or move up to his proper weight of 154 anyway. I don't even care to see him fight guys like Porter that already lost to Thurman and Brook. Spence should fight porter first then go after Canelo. I would like to see it happen. Whatever Spence decides is cool whether that's unifying at WW or going after Canelo. It would be cool to see Spence fight Crawford and then Canelo right after that, that would be epic!!
