Think about it. Why in the *** would Ortiz NOT take a fight that would put $5 million in his bank account at his age and stage of his career? For those that say Ortiz is scared or ducking, they are complete idiots.
You're just desperate to blame Hearn for anything when it's clear as day the issue in getting Joshua v Ortiz hasn't been Hearn... it's been Ortiz team and they've even admitted that. Ortiz trainer might be saying send a contract but when his promoter is saying that the offer is unacceptable and there won't be a fight what exactly do you expect Hearn to do?Last edited by Deus; 04-27-2019, 12:58 PM.

I used the Wilder $50 million offer for an example. At the time it happened all AJ fans said it wasn't real because no contract was sent.
Now the shoe is on the other foot. Hearn won't send a contract until team Ortiz agrees verbally? ffs
If Hearn wanted Ortiz to fight, all he had to do is talk directly to him. If AJ wanted definitely to fight Ortiz, he would tell Hearn to make the damn fight. AJ is Hearn's boss, not the other way around.

Thats one guy. But that doesnt mean that EVERYONE does. And it makes no sense for Haymon to do it. That money has to be taxed SOMEWHERE. It just doesnt vanish into thin air. If Haymon doesnt disclose it, then HE gets taxed for it, and I guarantee you that aint happening......Man y’all (The Media) have to stop posting these bogus ass PBC purses. You really think that’s all these guys are getting paid? 😂😂😂😂😂

What you would do is write up a contract if you have some basis of an agreement (ie. the fighter's purse) and then that contract itself would then be amended to suit any minor changes afterwards.
As for talking to Ortiz directly... you said a promoter works for a client so why then is the responsibility not on Ortiz' promoter to actually inform their client in order to make a deal? That would be the proper channel to actually do it and how fights are made; just not in this case because of Dade cutting Ortiz out of the picture.
If you can't comprehend this then you clearly simply don't want to comprehend it as it doesn't suit your argument. Though unlike you i'm not going to be so ignorant as to attempt to insult your intelligence.

the difference is that you think the money was fair. offer him the money you've accounted for, IE what you put aside for miller. ortiz' people shouldn't even have a narrative to spin about it being a lowball. that way you don't devalue yourself [or let eddie dictate your value to be] less than jarrel miller, who was always a flat out worse fighter than ortiz and less of a draw.

Don’t even backtrack? You literally said it was lowball. Totally embarrassing that you can’t admit you were talking out of your arse and were completely utterly wrong.
As you can see, Ortiz’s own manager is now pissed with his own business partner. Haha
