You are missing the point, but I'm not surprised. I mentioned the $50 million offer because a contract never came with it, just like the contract never came with Hearn's recent offer to Ortiz and his team. It isn't a REAL offer unless they see it in writing. Otherwise it is just a type of political posturing to make it look like they tried.

Think about it. Why in the *** would Ortiz NOT take a fight that would put $5 million in his bank account at his age and stage of his career? For those that say Ortiz is scared or ducking, they are complete idiots.

Ortiz had Wilder out on his feet. If that were AJ, the fight would have been stopped, guaranteed. Takam wasn't as hurt, nor was Wlad. They kept Parker away from fighting inside where he may have had a chance. I hope Ortiz gets a chance, even though at his age now it may be a long shot.
