Whatever the situation, Ortiz should have stepped in a lot earlier and said he wanted the right. The man has wasted his entire life doing nothing but losing to Wilder.

This is about Eddie Hearn right now. Offering $7-8 million??? Ok, send them the contract so they can see it in writing. For all the Wilder haters out there, (Which by the way has nothing to do with Ortiz) look at it like the $50 million Wilder offered Joshua, but didn't send a contract. (Not a real offer, right?)
Like Ortiz's trainer said:
"But let me be clear—and this is Luis’ exact place on this (subject)—if Eddie shows us a real contract with no games, we will gladly take that fight, whether June 1 or after that.”
And you're wondering why normal people are disgusted by your kind.
Wake the hell up!

Think about it. Why in the *** would Ortiz NOT take a fight that would put $5 million in his bank account at his age and stage of his career? For those that say Ortiz is scared or ducking, they are complete idiots.
Ortiz had Wilder out on his feet. If that were AJ, the fight would have been stopped, guaranteed. Takam wasn't as hurt, nor was Wlad. They kept Parker away from fighting inside where he may have had a chance. I hope Ortiz gets a chance, even though at his age now it may be a long shot.Last edited by JWHardin; 04-27-2019, 06:37 AM.

Doesn't Ortiz fight for uncle Hymen under the PBC banner? Yeah, you can't have AJ crush "King Kong" in like 3 rds because that will illustrate what he [AJ] would do to Wilder if they ever fought. You all know why this fight isn't happening.

I mentioned the $50 million offer because a contract never came with it, just like the contract never came with Hearn's recent offer to Ortiz and his team. It isn't a REAL offer unless they see it in writing. Otherwise it is just a type of political posturing to make it look like they tried.

Hearn claimed he text Jimenez directly and had words when he read his “Lowball” offer statement. So Jay cannot deny not knowing what was offered.
(Dade Promotions) somehow accept 500k last year, but they wouldn’t accept 5-7m for Ortiz this year? To make this short! Haymon either stopped this fight after Jimenez spoke to him, or Ortiz is on PED..
In regards to the PBC loyalist on here? Just ignore these posters. They are a disease to this sport of boxing, I have seen posters come and go due to their favourite boxers and I have to say, this lot are the worse boxing fans ever.
They celebrate a fight not happening, they celebrate a boxer turning down 10 times their biggest payday, they make excuses for why a boxer should hold out for more money etc They are a cancer on this forum..
It's mind blowing that people will put so much effort into agendas that even they know not to be true.
