Ortiz has been offered the fight. If he refuses it it looks like the front runner will be Michael Hunter Junior, whoever the hell that is.

Eh, don't blame Ortiz' people for not taking it with less than optimal time. I also dont think Ortiz has any problem fighting AJ although being subjected to the VADA testing without prior warning may be an issue for him.

We shouldn't underestimate this factor. Ortiz may have been pretty relaxed in between fights taking whatever 'vitamin ****tails' his team have been feeding him and they would be smart to do a private blood screening first just to make sure he's good to go.

Ortiz is very dangerous and you can't say he has no chance. The more interesting thing to me is how Roach says Joshua is the best heavyweight after training Fury.

Roach should NOT at all be talking about others juicing and penalties. Pacman was juicing for yrs and starching guys. Soon as Mayweather got on his ass about fight and drug testing, Pacman made excuses. When he did stop juicing his power suddenly went away and he has stopped only one or two opponents to date since than.

I agree with your assessment although I think Ortiz is unproven too. His first real test he was knocked out in a fight that he had it his own way for much of the fight. Honestly I don’t even think he punches that hard. Him going 12 rounds with Kauffman showed me that

A lot of this is waiting on the "B" sample to be tested for Miller's camp. In the slim, non-realistic, fantasy-land chance it tests negative, then Miller can still get his shot at Joshua. I understand the 24th (according to ESPN) is when those results will be known, then a true offer can be made to a replacement.

Hearn has said though he will announce a replacement next week and with little over 6 weeks left until the event they cannot simply wait for Miller's B sample before negotiating with other boxers; he will have to have everything agreed with somebody already so the moment there is an announcement regarding that sample then everything is ready to go.
