So again, why didn't AJ and crew offer Ortiz a fight with a full camp not a few weeks to prep for a super fight. As for Ortiz not jumping at the offer, some fighters really enjoy the time between fights and need a full camp to get back into fighting shape and work on timing and reflexes. AJ and camp lose credibility for trying to slam Ortiz. Looks like a cheap attempt to gain a advantage. AJ fan boys always say Ortiz is 52 well then his old azz really needs a full camp to be in the best shape. After this you won't hear AJ camp mention Ortiz.

He is under an enormous amount of pressure such as Eddie Hearn is with DAZN to provide enough boxing content and entertainment to those platforms by filling up all those dates and time slots with them. Therefore, he must utilize all the talent that he has in his current stable.

Which is why he has persuaded his fighters not to fight on other platforms such as DAZN and ESPN. For example: Deontay Wilder, Luis Ortiz and Adam Kownacki.

Moreover, it's the same reason why Matchroom fighters from the U.K. Are now fighting in the U.S. It's because Eddie Hearn has to fill out those dates and time slots that he is contractually obligated to by providing enough boxing content to DAZN as well.
