Why not? Ortiz did say he'd be ready at a weeks notice for the Wilder rematch. Plenty of time here to train if he's in the gym already ticking over.

How can AJ give Ortiz a full camp when there is only over 5 weeks to go till fight time? AJ didn't plan on Miller failing a test and f3cking things up.

Sid I do get they wanted an American fighter for AJ to beat up in America. When I say give Ortiz a full camp I am referring to a different fight date. I don't think you can blame AJ for JM screwing up. They can pick anyone except some total soup can. Lol you can believe roach all you want and sing his praise to the milky way but I really suggest you go back and look at some of his previous fight prediction and how far off he was AJ and his camp had plenty of chances to fight king Kong after a full camp and not some super short camp with a offer made on such a short notice. Ortiz is called the most avoided boxer of the division for a reason and not just by Wilder fans. If they are so confident they will beat Ortiz, why didn't they fight him instead of JM. Ortiz is a much bigger name and it would have shut up plenty of nay Sayers.
