All this BS well he is making a lot of money we just can't tell you how much but if we did nobody would criticize him. Load of horse shyt because if that were true then releasing that info would kill all the criticism he taking for passing on large deals. Showtime is NOT paying him 20M(DAZN offer) for a fight that isn't even on PPV especially with no long term contract for future fights. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just plain ******ed.

And Wilder isn't loyal to Showtime he is loyal to Haymon. Hell he's already fought many times outside of Showtime. If he was "loyal" to Showtime he wouldn't of fought on FOX (Twice), NBC, CBS ect . He went a 2 year stretch where he stopped fighting on Showtime had just one fight on Showtime during that stretch and whatever other network Haymon told him to for the rest. That's like a man saying his girlfriend is loyal to him meanwhile she has been caught cheating on him 4 times already. LMAO
You have no idea what you're talking about. Wilder never fought on NBC or CBS. And you think Showtime was interested in paying for the Duhaupas fight, or the Arreola fight, or the Gerald Washington fight? No way. Smart decision. Let another network pay for the mismatches and then keep the good fights on Showtime.

That's not disloyalty, that's smart business decisions.

Dana never releases numbers even for UFC PPVs. He will just say it did massive numbers or broke records blah blah blah.

But let's get back to point. The 325k number is just for US PPVs, not a worldwide number being reported by the boxing writers. They never release worldwide numbers. Much easier to get numbers leaked stateside then it is around the world, particularly in the UK where not even UK writers are able to get the numbers.

Excellent post! How can one know what percentage of the pie you're getting if you don't know what the other side is making? The deaf, dumb, and blind, will say "Does it matter?" Hell yeah, it matters! $40 million sounds like a lot, until you find out the other guy got $80 million!

Boxing writers and leaked numbers? I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about finance, Forbes magazine and the Wall Street Journal. There is always a bottom line and someone has access to it. In fact, someone printed it out on an accounting form.

Finally, and I have to go for the day, but why wouldn't Showtime release the numbers to Forbes and the WSJ for publicity? You know what? They did.

Where do you think Forbes in this case and WSJ got the numbers from? They took them from the reported numbers from the boxing writers. When WSJ wrote an article of the PBC deal with FOX, they reported the numbers Coppinger did in his article.

And LIS, neither SHO nor HBO will release the numbers unless they do great. Because what happens when the PPV tanks? They would have to release those numbers as well.

Either way, we can leave it at this. Just telling you, any number US writers report/release, are strictly US PPV buys and not worldwide numbers.

Have a nice day (Mankind voice).
