“We’re not going to publicize all of the financial arrangements, like other have seen fit to do,” Espinoza said. “Now, if we did, I think he’d probably receive less criticism. But his financial arrangements are his business, and his business alone."
Yet he turned down $100million from DAZN because they wouldn't tell him about AJ's financial arrangements!
One thing is the head of a network not announcing PUBLICLY the terms of a fighter's deal.
The other is during PRIVATE FACE TO FACE NEGOTIATIONS, not knowing what the total pot of money is and not knowing what the other fighter is getting paid.
Two very different things.Comment

Does SHO know how many international buys there were? I'm sure, since they were involved in the fight. But SHO and HBO hardly ever release numbers. They only do so when the numbers are great. They did NOT release the Wilder/Fury numbers. LIS, when the Mayweather/McGregor numbers were released by guys like Coppinger/Iole/Rafael, they said 4.3 million buys, not 5.5M buys or whatever it did worldwide. All the numbers released by these guys are strictly US based.Comment

Dana White DID know the numbers. I don't think you are understanding me. Dana White kept saying Mayweather/McGregor broke all PPV records....And worldwide he is probably right. I don't doubt that. HOWEVER, in terms of US PPV buys? It fell short from the Mayweather/Pacquiao PPV. None of the boxing writers were reporting worldwide numbers, only US based numbers. So when 325k is reported by them, they are not taking into consideration worldwide numbers. If they did, then why wouldn't they have reported worldwide numbers for Mayweather/Pacquiao or Mayweather/McGregor?Comment

"The 33-year-old Wilder, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, is not committed to Showtime beyond the Breazeale bout". If Wilder is getting good money to fight Breazeale then why was turning down the DAZN offers a bad move? Those deals were contingent on him beating Breaeale anyway. If Wilder and Joshua both win their next bouts then a unififcation bout can easily take place. How about Hearn and Joshua offering Wilder a one fight 40 million dollar deal. Will they? I doubt it and if they did he would jump all over it and finally knock Joshua's overrated arse out!Comment

Again, I'm sure the investors are fully aware of the real numbers....But SHO didn't report or release any numbers for Wilder/Fury. So what is your point here?Comment
