It dosen't surprise me that you pick that part and ignore the rest of his comment which is what I agreed with. Picking and choosing has been the basis of your whole argument.

I should probably define moist for you, since you have probably dont know what it means and wont look it up.

      Its the same as wet.
That sucker gets hard as the fight goes on too.
It was a trick in the old days, boxers would dip their wraps ( the knuckle area ) in water.

All these justification for what Margacheato and Capitillo did is bullsh8.
I wonder if these guys have even sparred a round in their lives . I doubt they even know how to wrap hands properly.

Freaking Margarito's excuse about not knowing the pad is loaded is hilarious at best . Please.
Please. Even I can tell if the gauze pad is thinner or thicker than usual.
Cheato's "pads" were already pre-formed. There was a left and a right one.
The two ( boxer and trainer ) should have been banned for life.

I agree, they should have been banned for life. Attempting to load plaster into your gloves is not a joke. Fighting with casts under your gloves is not a joke. You jeopardize the health and safety of the other fighter.

Your ignorance of the world around you doesn't make you correct. Its just makes people shake their head.

Btw, plaster sets in about 30 min. Well within the time frame of how long a fighter would have their hands wrapped before a fight.
Good Point! I think it hardens around 15-30 mins. Dude you are fully exposing these lads....Preach Brother ..preach!

Give it up dude you sound ridiculous, had that been the case there would be no doubt. There was a video were Richardson can be seen persuading the commisionar becaus the commission didn't notice anything. These were trace amounts at the lab! In a pad that Richardson and team had access to before being sealed you fool.

some idiots in here don't realize that when someone gets hit in there face with loaded gloves you damage the fighters tissues in the face....hence Cotto getting easily bruised in the 2nd fight w/ MargoCheato, althought not as bad as the first fight.

I don't know if you understand this or not, but the basis of his argument, is evidence tried before a court, with forensic evidence that confirms that the substance found in the pads was plaster of paris.

Its also, that you are being willfully ignorant, and refusing to look at read, or even attempt to understand any of the evidence or testimony of people that were there, saw the pads, touched that pads, were responsible for overseeing the handwraping process, etc.

That you didn't even know the pads were wet when they were discovered says everything anyone needs to know about your understanding of the topic that is being discussed.

You have none. You don't know the facts, you wont read the facts, you just want to pretend like they don't exist.

You want to pretend that Margarito didn't challenge the fact that there was indeed plaster on the pads. He accepted that as fact.

If he can accept that as fact, why cant you?

The ref would then not notice anything hard when he presses down on the gloves before the fight .

I still remember in the 80's, main event boxers used to enter the ring with no gloves. They were wrapped.
The ref would then throw two pairs of gloves on the air and each trainer catches one pair.

Back then double-stacking was legal. But, no adhesive tape foundation over the knuckles.
