Let's put an end to this Margarito and plaster nonsense.

If you believe Margarito used rocks in his gloves against Cotto I'm not really sure what to tell you, but how can you say that when there was never anything proven. He celebrated a lot after that win and shook a lot of hands, you mean to tell me NO ONE felt anything?

If some regular person hit Cotto with rocks in their gloves (or anyone for that matter), he'd be knocked out. It's hard to believe a hard puncher and trained fighter wouldn't have killed someone if he actually had something in his gloves.

Cotto didn't lose because of Margarito having an "advantage". Cotto lost because it was simply just a bad match up for him. He didn't have enough fire power to defeat Margarito and Cotto has proven to not have the stamina to sustain either. I'm one of the few that would go on and say he looked like he was ready for some deja vu in the 2nd fight. Cotto's stamina was once again failing him and Margarito was coming at him, and he once again was fading. Bad eye and all, Margarito was on his way to make Cotto take another knee.

As for Margarito's fight with Mosley, Mosley is a proven cheater and he's admitted to taking steroids, so who's to say Margarito wasn't just trying to "even the playing field". I hear idiots on here all the time accuse Pacquiao for using roids (even though there's no proof of it) and say "well Marquez roided up to even the playing field", so for those who say this, do they also say the same for Margarito and that he was just "evening up the playing field", no they don't, such a double standard and hypocritical.

I'm pretty sure that the Margarito who faced Pacquiao (motivated, well trained, and had Robert Garcia) would've beaten Shane and Cotto

I don’t believe he did but that’s me. There is a reason you have teams in opposition corners/dressing rooms when wrapping hands and sh it. The excuse about he used it in the cotto fight was unfounded. I saw some pictures of the red mark on Margarito which was similar to the one that was take from him against Mosley but it was not conclusive.

To me it's obvious he didn't use them

The damage he did to Cotto was congruent with the amount of times he was hitting him.

Of course Cotto fans are NEVER going to stop using it as an inbuilt excuse for the loss, but if Margarito had loaded wraps Cotto would have looked deformed after the fight and he didnt

I sure have proof that he did it once. And that puts a cloud of doubt over his whole career.
Could you say anything that proves otherwise ?

Tainted doesn’t necessarily mean he did it once, multiple times or never. But no one can prove it. But we know he tried it once, sure seems possible he is open to doing it previously.

But he did turn into trash the moment he got found out, not a good look.
That cloud of doubt will always remain with him and he has no one but himself and his team to blame

Margarito fans are easy to spot in this thread

It wasn't the plaster that beat Cotto that night. It was his shltty gas tank.

“Cotto lost because it was a bad matchup for him”

And it suddenly became a favorable matchup when Margarito moved up to 154 and somehow lost all of his power?

You are never going to convince the majority that he did not have loaded gloves for Cotto. I don't think his gloves were loaded for lots of obvious reasons including zero proof but I gave up long ago of changing any minds that think his wraps were loaded.
