If you believe Margarito used rocks in his gloves against Cotto I'm not really sure what to tell you, but how can you say that when there was never anything proven. He celebrated a lot after that win and shook a lot of hands, you mean to tell me NO ONE felt anything?
If some regular person hit Cotto with rocks in their gloves (or anyone for that matter), he'd be knocked out. It's hard to believe a hard puncher and trained fighter wouldn't have killed someone if he actually had something in his gloves.
Cotto didn't lose because of Margarito having an "advantage". Cotto lost because it was simply just a bad match up for him. He didn't have enough fire power to defeat Margarito and Cotto has proven to not have the stamina to sustain either. I'm one of the few that would go on and say he looked like he was ready for some deja vu in the 2nd fight. Cotto's stamina was once again failing him and Margarito was coming at him, and he once again was fading. Bad eye and all, Margarito was on his way to make Cotto take another knee.
As for Margarito's fight with Mosley, Mosley is a proven cheater and he's admitted to taking steroids, so who's to say Margarito wasn't just trying to "even the playing field". I hear idiots on here all the time accuse Pacquiao for using roids (even though there's no proof of it) and say "well Marquez roided up to even the playing field", so for those who say this, do they also say the same for Margarito and that he was just "evening up the playing field", no they don't, such a double standard and hypocritical.
I'm pretty sure that the Margarito who faced Pacquiao (motivated, well trained, and had Robert Garcia) would've beaten Shane and Cotto
