[QUOTE=Ake-Dawg;19140650]X7 of regular is huge enough to make this fight.... One is just being too greedy and jealous. That's why the fight is not made till date.
Isn't that what Golovkin did when he was negotiating with Golden Boy. Whether is 2, 3, through 7 times the regular (the number is semantics) its regular in boxing for potential opponents to take hard negotiating stances in mega fights. All those fights were eventually made. We don't have to pretend that this impasse between Wilder and Joshua is some new thing to boxing.Comment

You won't have to worry about negotiations breaking down this time because Whyte will be signed before December 1st!Shirley is old school and just as devious as Bob Arum.He was underestimated and he has done a fine job manipulating the media. Look at the way he shies away from the question asked, and puts the onus or rather paints a narrative for Wilder fans to guzzle.
Team Wilder are sitting pretty. Negotiations have not even started but if they breakdown who will be at fault?.... Winkel can come today if he chooses and point blank say Eddie refuses to fight us and Wilder fans erupt in droves. I may have to cancel my Trip to New York next Month in fear of being lynched. You Wilder fans are too aggressive for my likingComment

I guess when Joshua said in an interview a year or two back that he wouldn't fight Wilder until he was physically, emotionally, and mentally ready he wasn't kidding. He later told his fans if they think it is so easy, go train, get in shape and they can fight Wilder.
Now we have Lyin Eddie spewing more lies to the public, doing more damage control putting out the illusion that they actualy want the Wilder fight now. Still the same flat fee offer, still no rematch clause. (Wlad got one and didn't even have a belt)
Even the most avid fans of AJ say a 60/40% split would be fair. Wilder won their "poll". Do the fans a favor and line it up.Comment

Tell me why the **** did he give fury a rematch in his contract
He’s gonna be tied up for at least 10 months so all this posturing from Finkel is absolute bollocksComment

40% for someone who has no ppv record and has never fought in front of 15k spectators before. Whose money will they pay him with?I guess when Joshua said in an interview a year or two back that he wouldn't fight Wilder until he was physically, emotionally, and mentally ready he wasn't kidding. He later told his fans if they think it is so easy, go train, get in shape and they can fight Wilder.

Let me say this the 50 million blunder,as a AJ fan it was a big fat L. No one told Joshua to say what he said but he did and Winkel played on it and there is nothing more to say because not was he offered what he asked for but he made the meek excuse of wanting to fight in front of his fans and not wanting them to travel. But I get it I would not want to give Wilder home advantage as The established A side. However , even if he did want to accept that deal he couldn’t. It all makes sense now .( I had a blonde moment for several months)
Team Joshua made the initial 12.5 million offer , Team Wilder replied we will counter the offer in 48 hours and they took 2 weeks to come back. I remember the Americans were very quiet during that period doing everything in their power to not antagonise any Brits or remind them that we are yet to receive the counter. Meanwhile they were scampering round whoring Wilder to any network that were willing to come up with the money.
It makes perfect sense BT were asked how much they were willing to pay to broadcast the event. If that happened flat out the offer will be declined as it’s a conflict of interest.
Real fight fans are not interested in hearing that and when this network argument was brought up that’s why I zoned out for 3 months. I have been wet behind the ears but if you watch the video and you are still talking nonsense then there is no helping you.
