Maybe Wilder is not 'pricing himself out',
maybe Joshua is undervaluing him.
Whatever the fight is worth, Wilder should receive a fair share.
Both Joshua and Wilder are now more famous than they
were when Joshua fought Klitschko, and a Wilder-Joshua
fight has been 'marinating' for a while now. It will generate
far more interest, particularly in North America, than
Joshua's fight with Klitschko did. Joshua needs Wilder if he
wants to break into the American PPV market.
Wilder may not be a proven PPV attraction in America, but
who else can Joshua generate that kind of interest against?
Joshua is an a-side in England, but a 'world champion'
should not just be fighting in his own backyard.
If Lucian Bute received flack for constantly defending his
title in Montreal, why shouldn't Joshua be held to the same
standard? Let Joshua come to Vegas. Why not?
They might even roll-out a red carpet for him and treat him
like the Queen.
Joshua doesn't need to let Wilder dictate the terms. He's the reason why this fight is worth so much in the first place.
To see fighters fight Mr "real fight fan" the fighters have to agree. When they don't Mr "real fight fan" then it's reasonable to look at the circumstances and demands and see who is holding the fight up Mr "real fight fan"
