Go back and look at the career Povetkin career sh** on Ortiz
Povetkin is better than Ortiz

Ortiz is also a notorious steroid user and doper who got stripped of the WBA regular title for failing the post fight PED test. But Wilder still wanted to fight him after he got popped for his PED use. Not Povetkin though. Ever wonder why that was?Of course he did. That's not bad for a notorious doper and PED user. He was juiced to the gills when those fights happened. There were no mandatory VADA testing back then when he was laying those guys out cold. If there wasn't any testing for this fight, undoubtedly he would knocked Joshua out cold with his lying cheating ass. That's why Wilder refused to fight him because got popped for his PED use.Comment

Yeah but Ortiz got popped in the U.S. That makes a whole lot of difference because the governing bodies in America are more stringent than in other parts of the world. That's why Ortiz was popped and got detected.
The reason why Wilder chose not to fight Povetkin is real simple. It's because many Russian and Ukrainian athletes are notorious juicers; Especially boxers.
In addition, unlike the U.S. There isn't any stringent testing for PED use in that part of the world. They have perhaps the most corrupt governing bodies of any in all of boxing.
Almost all of their athletes pop dirty. Therefore, I don't blame Wilder for doing what he did by getting the fuck outta dodge.
In addition, it's very possible the Povetkin has been juicing for his entire professional career.Comment

Povetkin and Ortiz both got caught by VADA, and Povetkin got popped in his own country, Russia, so how the heck does that make them more corrupt that the US?Yeah but Ortiz got popped in the U.S. That makes a whole lot of difference because the governing bodies in America are more stringent than in other parts of the world. I'm pretty sure Ortiz is a long term PED abuser, which is why he now has high blood pressure. There's always been something shady about him. He refused to sign for an eliminator with Ustinov and pulled out of the fight because of a row over prefight testing, and he's looked like crap in most of his fights since then.
And there have been far more US and US based boxers caught using PEDs than Russians and Ukrainians. America has always been the world capital of steroid cheating.Last edited by kafkod; 09-24-2018, 09:57 PM.Comment

Right you said VADA not the governing bodies. Remember when you said that Ortiz got stripped of the WBA regular title for failing the post fight PED test. That test was taking by the Nevada State Athletic Commission not from some separate independent entity or testing agency like VADA. That means that the American governing bodies are doing their jobs. They ensure that their fighters are clean.Povetkin and Ortiz both got caught by VADA, and Povetkin got popped in his own country, Russia, so how the heck does that make them more corrupt that the US?

I agree. As I said earlier, the U.S. Boxing Athletic Commissions do a far better job of testing stringently for doping and PED abuse than any other governing bodies in the world and they don't need VADA to do it either. They do it themselves. They've caught several steroid cheats in the past because they test for them unlike many of the corrupt governing bodies around the world.Comment

That's your opinion. But he was not behind on the scorecards and he did not lose every round. Those are facts. Your statements are lies. He dropped Ortiz in the 5th You gave that round to Ortiz too? Carry on LOL.Comment

No I'm not in the minority because I didn't score the fight. So your reading comprehension is lacking. It's not about me it's about the official scorecard. Wilder was ahead on the cards and that was the dispute. Facts.Comment

No it's not my opinion. I was live in the thread here, on twitter and everywhere else.
No I didn't give him the 5th, but he did outbox Wilder throughout and hurt him badly.Comment

So in your mind Ortiz's doping is more OK than Povetkin's?Yeah but Ortiz got popped in the U.S. That makes a whole lot of difference because the governing bodies in America are more stringent than in other parts of the world. That's why Ortiz was popped and got detected.
