You really think Wilder was going to pay it out of his own pocket? Finkel, Haymon, and DiBella can get together 50 million for the biggest heavyweight fight in a long time.

Why would all of them put together this elaborate hoax just to not deliver? They've never done anything like that in their entire careers and I don't think they are about to start now.

    "Sucker". lol

Hearn please. Stop trying to play the ol’ Arum game that he used to play with public for PAC-Floyd. Try something new & freshbcuz it’s not working again.

          Wilder is a coward

Joshua has made 4 offers, wilder is the most difficult b side ever, imagine if Ortiz did this to Floyd lol I bet he saw fans reactions in here would be different

Joshua is the biggest star of boxing and all wilder had to do was sign to fight but he lost his balls

Now he has the same chance again in April

            Shouldn’t it go both ways

If AJ was a man of his word he would have signed on to fight Wilder as soon as there was a 50 million dollar offer ?

But then the goalposts got moved and it was more important to fight in his home country and lose a significant amount of $ , he isn’t going to let $ sway him , he’s a man of principle.

It doesn’t matter , Hearn has no intention and didn’t deliver the fight because of the games he played. Wilder didn’t get the fight next so agreeing to the BS flat fee shouldnt be a option. If/when AJ /Hearn decide they want the fight offer a fair % and the fight will be made

            It’s not really that difficult

But I have a feeling they aren’t in a rush and would rather fight Whyte in March or if he loses then it’ll be Miller. Then probably a IBF Mando next and if they can get Fury after that they’d rather do that

              1. Wilder said he would fight Whyte if AJ was guaranteed to be next. Hearn declined. The amount is moot after that.

              2. Contract had no date or provision stating AJ would fight Wilder next, thus they didnt sign but asked that the contract be modified to reflect that.

              3. Wilder had reconciled that he'd have to take short money to get the fight NEXT, thus the money was not the ISSUE.

              4. Meanwhile AJ telling his fans to train and fight Wilder because he ain gonna be forced to.

All facts..all easily checked by google
Right, so we agree then. He accepted the $15 million and the money wasn’t the issue. That’s what I said and you’ve agreed right here. Not sure how I’m twisting anything.

There are still Wilder fans on this forum claiming the fight hasn’t happened because of Wilder’s split. That’s nonsense. Terms were agreed.

And I think you’re on thin ground using the word ‘facts’. A lot of what you’re saying here is just what Wilder said happened.

The Contract for instance- Hearn says the contract was sent and they never heard back, never even received any comments back.

So you can’t say because Wilder has a slightly different version of events that’s a ‘fact’.

Finally a sensible post! I actually totally agree with you. But in that case both Wilder and his fans need to pipe down and get the deal done for April.

Here's a recent interview where AJ claims he was taken out of context, and that what he sad before and after would've put it into context, but he doesn't give a single example of how that is the case. He then says "Show me the general offer. With the money comes an offer".

Notice how he didn't say the money wasn't real, or that they didn't prove the money was real and that's why he didn't agree. Now AJ nuthuggers can stop using that excuse. The true reason is the fight would've been in the USA, and AJ is too scared to do that even with 50 mil.
Dude, forget the $50 million offer. If there was any kind of thought behind it at all, both teams wouldn’t have been so quick to start negotiating on Eddie’s terms in the UK. It had no terms, no information, no detail. There was nothing to agree on, which is why they started negotiating on a real contract.

Paying AJ $50 million would have left nothing in the pot for Wilder, certainly less than $15 million. It was a publicity stunt, designed to get the two teams talking, which they then did. We’re so far past that now it’s irrelevant, which is why you fans should stop hiding behind it in your posts.
