GGG didn't settle for a bs flat fee, when he knew the fight was bigger because of Canelo AND himself. He didn't get 50-50, but he sure as hell got a lot more than 15,000,000.

He also doesn't have a track record of huge ppv's either. In fact, his ppv numbers would seem to work against him. He also just made 1M his last fight. He still stuck to his guns and got himself a +40% split, because clearly Golden Boy and Canelo also want the fight.

What's wrong with Wilder doing the same? NOBODY takes a flat fee for a megafight....there is no precedent. If this fight doesn't get made, it'll be because AJ and Mismatchroom don't want it, not because Wilder wouldn't accept a bs flat fee.

Exactly, if the A side really wants the fight the fight will get made. The only thing Wilder wants is fair split. AJ will not make the money he could make with Wilder with anyone else. Yes he makes his 20 mil but he will end up making more with Wilder and grow his profile more in the states.

Canelo wanted the fight bad enough when GGG wouldn't accept their offer that he ended up giving up money to GGG to make the fight.

Canelo could have easily said GGG doesn't want the fight and pricing himself out and moved on to Jacobs. All we hear from Hearn and AJ is sign the flat fee contract or we'll fight Whyte again.

Wan't GGG getting offered around the same thing from GB to fight Canelo. Keep in mind GGG was making around 2 mil per fight. Difference is GB and Oscar wanted the fight and came off the flat fee excuse and gave him a percentage.

He agreed to the 15 mil to make the fight next, which is this year not 10 months from now. How hard is that to see.

Thats like me saying I agree to buy your house for a certain amount that we agreed to today but I wont actually buy it until 10 months from now when the value of your home will go up.

Its crazy that some of these Americans really think Wilder is somebody even though all the numbers and hard facts tell you he is not. He is irrelevant in his own homecountry.

10 Million people in ****in GERMANY watched Joshua live on cable tv. In a country that has 80 million people, in America 1 Million watched Wilders biggest fight vs Ortiz, in a country with 325 million people.

Think about it, Wilder is a NOBODY.

and 300k watch AJ fights in the UK. AJ is nobody in the US and Germany had to do with Wlad. UK is the size of California, AJ would be just another fish in a big pond here and shows with his views. If Wilder went to the UK he would get many of you drunk brits to show up.
