Exactly, the point. Lomachenko has his work cut out for him before reaches the stature of Bud Crawford. However he is a great fighter though as I enjoy watching his fights. However, Crawford not only was the first to unify all the titles in a single weight division but also became the first undisputed champion of his weight class since Jermain Taylor did it in 2005 against Bernard Hopkins. That has to account for something.

And what does Mikey Garcia or Canelo have to prove to be #1? You personally just have to like them and that's enough?

If there is a knockout in the fight it will definitely be for Adonis but like you I see Jack grinding it out. I jack and his coach so I’m rooting for them

What P4P fighter has Lomachencko beaten? Rigondeaux? If that’s the case, in retrospect Floyd’s win over JMM has to be considered one of the greatest performances in boxing history.

So Salido getting a razor thin split decision in a fight where he was outlanded equals "beating the breaks" (by the way it's "brakes" you ******) off Lomachenko?

Jeezus some of y'all should really have your boxing fan cards revoked lol

Or at least be forced to take a 6 month education course on boxing

Walters, Linares were borderline in some lists not in most. Same for Gamboa when he fought Bud.

With the exception of Rungvisai and Lomachenko who has beaten a p4p fighter currently and one that was a p4p when said fighter beat them?

Looking at ESPN's top 10 nobody has. Not Crawford, not GGG, not Garcia (not even a top 40 lol), not Inoue, not Spence (not even close), nobody.

GG and Canelo are the only guys who have taken that big chance and fought each other who were ranked pfp. Loma Rigo was good on paper but most of us knew that the size difference was too great. Most of us true boxing fans knew that.

The other guys Bud, Garcia, and Loma are still looking for that dude to make them great. The natural process of rising up the pfp ranks does not change after a win unless it is a big win over a pfp guy and a pfp guy loses.

I don't vaunt or leap frog guys ahead of other fighters in pfp rankings who have worked hard and moved up the ladder the conventional way. I put Loma in my pfp top 10 list after he beat Rigo. Most of you had him in your top 10 already. Loma deserved that even if Rigo was two divisions below.

Do you think that I would put Loma at number 1 pfp for beating Linares? Foh. I still don't know who Linares best win is. Right now 5 guys are ranked ahead of Loma. The only way Loma can't climb up is if he beats a guy like Garcia.
