Klitschko was beaten by Ross Purrity. By your logic Ross Purrity must be one of the greatest heavyweights ever. Loma did enough to prove that loss to Salido was a fluke.Comment

Finally someone else said it. These posters had me believing I was nuts. I see no closer than 8 rounds to 4, but some posters say Canelo deserved the draw or even WON. I even tried watching the fight tunnel vision on Canelo and can't see him even getting a draw. Oh well
Canelo 10 and 12. Round 11 could of went either way but most online cards have it to Canelo. If you had GGG by 8 or worse you gave ALL the close rounds to GGG.
I gave you 5 rounds for sure. Throw in round 11 A draw.
I didnt even go into missing over 500 punches with some being so wild it looked like Helen Keller in there. Hopefully this time Sanchez will train GGG more instead of being a media ho.Comment

The author showed me how little he knows about boxing when he said we don't know how good Gary Russell Jr is!!! That's the one fight I give lomachenko credit for. I think Gary Russell is solid sure he's not active enough but the guy can fight. I just know one thing "IF" lomachenko loses (again) I don't want to read any article about him being overrated or down talk the man afterwards. They are building him up so they should give him the benefit of the doubt if he has a slip up.Comment

Well written article making arguments on both sides. I’ve been one that has stated Lomo doesn’t belong P4P Number #1 but I can see a case being made for him based on his best wins to date. But I could still disagree based on the “overall” quality of opposition throughout their careers by Russell, Linares, Walters, & Rigondeaux, faced before fighting Lomo. What really strengthens Lomo’s career resume and makes an argument for having him on the P4P list is the key wins against Donaire by both Walters & Rigondeaux before facing Lomo and Lomo collecting titles in multiple weight divisions in only 12 fights.
I guess my bigger issue was when some “so called” boxing experts & people rated him higher than Andre Ward when he was still an active fighter on the P4P list. Ward was 32-0, a super middleweight and a light heavyweight champion. He had notable wins against (Miranda) whose only losses came against Abraham twice & Pavlik once before they fought, (Kessler) whose only loss was against Calzaghe before they fought, (Abraham) whose only losses were against Dirrell & Froch before they fought, (Froch) whose only loss was against Kessler before they fought, (Dawson) whose only loss was against Pascal before they fought, and (Kovalev) undefeated before they fought.
That’s why I don’t respect the P4P panel, clueless. I can see making an argument against Garcia, Crawford, & GGG now but not Andre Ward when he was still fighting. Nonsense!!!Comment

No one is denying that Lomachenko wouldn’t crucify Salido now . But a loss is a loss. Who told Loma to fight Salido in his 2nd pro fight? He was matched against Salido at the time because they overestimated his ability to deal with a washed up Veteran. Listen I like Loma and believe he is very skilled fighter. Slowly fans are starting to disregard the Salido fight but when you get some Loma fanatics downplaying other greats or comparing Floyd then the Salido trump card comes out to silence your blasphemous ****** mouthsComment
