Interesting matchup, odd Ortiz is right back in there for another shot so quick with other guys in contention. Sometimes a fighter at Ortiz's age can be more susceptible to knock outs after being floored 3 times like he was his last fight. On the reverse side, Ortiz is probably a more technically sound boxer than Dillian with his own power. I'm guessing Joshua fights Miller and Wilder fights Brazzers.com (oops, typo). Then whomever fights to unify in December.

It is an eliminator but yes, Ortiz is getting a shot at one and his very next fight can be for a belt again.

But I think that the landscape for the HW will look as you described it. But Povetkin might throw a monkey wrench in there

I remember that Stiverne - who did nothing to earn an eliminator with Povetkin in the first place - failed a PED test before the fight but was given a pass by the WBC because "it was the first time he had failed a drug test and there was no evidence he was deliberately cheating"

Whyte vs Ortiz is almost perfect. Hopefully Ortiz gets enough time to straighten his marbles out before the fight ... I'd rather they stick Parker in with PEDvetkin though ...
