That's what I thought. He obviously has some kind of leverage with the WBC. They virtually gave Wilder that title to begin with, then dug Stiverne out of the grave and fed him to Deontay again ..

WBC makes its OWN rules !
So if Whyte were to beat Ortiz, how long would Whyte have to wait before the WBC called another mandatory?

      This is getting crazy, man.

Ortiz is fresh off a KO loss with no tuneups, he's never been stopped before let alone put down so of course it's more than possible Wilder ruined him. Look at what happened to Stiverne, he was never the same.

Generally when a guy gets KO'd he'll take 3-4 fights vs non-champion level opponents before challenging for a title again.

Give me 10 Heavyweights that should be above Whyte?

I believe Ortiz deserve another title shot after his first outing against Wilder. He came within inches of winning that championship bout.

On the other hand this is a very dangerous fight for Dillian Whyte. If I was him I would take the Kubret Pulev title bout instead.

He's been trying to fight Wilder whilst giving him his biggest payday but Wilder is too scared. Haha. Let that sink in.

Wilder is going to fight a lesser fighter next for peanuts.

Well i believe that MAKES Whyte the mandatory defeating Ortiz if this is what is going on ?

A bigger question is why is Ortiz a final eliminator bc he just fought Wilder ? lol

Legally ( by actual rules ) Breazeale IS the mandatory .

I believe team Wilder knows this which is why they will fight him IF they duck Joshua and further stall a forced mandatory ?

IDK ? Seems like mandatories scare them . lol

Actually, the AJ fans all think Wilder beats Whyte. They're just saying it would be a decent fight. But Wilder doesn't want to bother with him so will take a lesser fighter on instead.

But all in all this is a dangerous test for Whyte. If he makes through it, his stock will go through the roof. On the other hand, if he doesn't...

P.S. It seems like the fate is conspiring, with Wilder's help, not to make much money for Wilder. He could have fought Whyte for $5mil, but now he will fight Breazele for $2m at best. And if Whyte loses, he will fight Ortiz again for the same $2m. Its like he hates money..

P.P.S. And why is it Ortiz who has just lost to Wilder gets a chance for a !final! eliminator?
Yeah, Wilder isn't interested in big money fights but refuses to fight Joshua unless he gets more than 12.5 Million.

And Wilder's fans defend it. It boggles the mind.
