LOL @ all the people and there were plenty who said that Arum would never let Loma fight someone outside of the Top Rank stable and that they'd duck Linares. Just like the Rigondeaux fight.

I think this will be a good, competitive fight though and Linares won't quit. High speed chess.

Agree. Now if the powers that be follow up the 2nd half of the year with Wilder/AJ, Spence/Thurman. Kov/Bivol, Gary Russel/Diaz and a quality Superfly card then this year will get boxing moving in the right direction.

Frankly, as MMA ratings are dropping, its the perfect time for boxing to put it's best foot forward.

The only reason his resume is lacking is because hes only had 11 fights. By his 20th pro fight he will have the best resume in the sport hands down.

I don't see enough big fights @ 135 after Linares. GGG (and Canelo) have Saunders, Charlo, Andrade, Jacobs, and Derevyanchenko to choose from, and he's still undefeated. Crawford (and Spence Jr.) has plenty of good choices, and Mikey wants in @ 147 too! I can't see a path to #1 P4P (on my list) unless GGG loses to Canelo, and if Crawford loses to Horn! ESPN already has Loma #1 in only 11 fights! That's very disrespectful to Mikey, GGG, Crawford, and Canelo!

This looks like a good fight. Linares has great speed and starts fast. He needs to make sure his conditioning matches Loma (if that's possible).

One of the only knocks on Linares is that he starts slow
