alright time to forget how bunch of people were saying it will be Beltran for sure because Loma likes going easy route and start discrediting Linares as an opponent.

I think he's ducking Beltran now or something.

I was skeptical it was going to get done. ESPN moved up start time so it wouldn't clash with HBO replay of GGG/Canelo.

I was sure it would be Loma/beltran. I was wrong.

Kudos to Bob, ODH and ESPN for putting on a really good fight that fans are really interested in.

Makes a great year even better.

I think this year is on course to be the best Boxing year since 2008.

              Usyk-Briedis
              Gassiev-Dorticos
              Rungvisai-Estrada
              Wilder-Ortiz
              Valdez-Quigg

All delivered excellent back and forth fights in a short time span and now we've got a good show Saturday, Joshua-Parker, Hurd-Lara, GGG-Canelo II, Usyk-Gassiev Lomachenko-Linares, Smith-Groves all signed, sealed and delivered. They can produce some duds and it's still all good and that's before even June has hit.

I just realized GGG-Canelo II, Usyk-Gassiev and Lomachenko-Linares is all in the space of 7 days. I can't name a better week in recent history

Agree. Now if the powers that be follow up the 2nd half of the year with Wilder/AJ, Spence/Thurman. Kov/Bivol, Gary Russel/Diaz and a quality Superfly card then this year will get boxing moving in the right direction.

Frankly, as MMA ratings are dropping, its the perfect time for boxing to put it's best foot forward.

Good fight, though I would have liked to see Berchelt at 130 before he moved up.

Linares is good, and he presents some interesting problems with his speed, athleticism and combination punching. But ultimately Loma has so many layers to his game that its tough to see Jorge getting the W.

Linares will cause him more issues than anyone not named Salido so far in Loma's career though imo.
