LOL @ all the people and there were plenty who said that Arum would never let Loma fight someone outside of the Top Rank stable and that they'd duck Linares. Just like the Rigondeaux fight.

I think this will be a good, competitive fight though and Linares won't quit. High speed chess.
Everything I was going to say. Excellent post.

Great test for Lomachenko. This is a fun fight!!

Frankly, as MMA ratings are dropping, its the perfect time for boxing to put it's best foot forward.

I don't see enough big fights @ 135 after Linares. GGG (and Canelo) have Saunders, Charlo, Andrade, Jacobs, and Derevyanchenko to choose from, and he's still undefeated. Crawford (and Spence Jr.) has plenty of good choices, and Mikey wants in @ 147 too! I can't see a path to #1 P4P (on my list) unless GGG loses to Canelo, and if Crawford loses to Horn! ESPN already has Loma #1 in only 11 fights! That's very disrespectful to Mikey, GGG, Crawford, and Canelo!

One of the only knocks on Linares is that he starts slow

              • mismatch. Loma needs to fight better opposition like Garcia or Terrence cawford

                • Great New! Good Fight on paper but I think Loma has a easy time with Linares and bust him up probably for another NO MAS

Oh booyakasha! Another win for Oscar! Loss for Arum! How exciting! Should we celebrate?

I mean, I'm going to celebrate the fighting getting made. You can celebrate Oscar's "win" though if you like. I'm a boxing fan, you're a negotiations fan I guess.

Garcia needs to fight GGG first and Crawford needs to fight Gilberto Ramirez.
