      Getting too many quotes to respond to everyone (sorry kids, Mrs Foxx wants me to work on the yard today) so for those who want to argue meat, I'll leave you with these wonderful quotes [warning; not for the weak of mind];

      NFL memo to players;
      "Players are warned to be aware of this issue when traveling to Mexico and China,"
      "Please take caution if you decide to consume meat, and understand that you do so at your own risk."
      "consuming large quan****** of meat while visiting those particular countries may result in a positive test."

      Globalissues.com
      "In Mexico 'a culture of substance use has developed. Cattle breeders and fatteners want fast results, and the use of feed alone doesn’t lead to the kind of production yields they’re looking for. And butcher shops don’t buy meat from fatteners who don’t use clenbuterol,' Cosme Amaro, a cattle breeder in the southeastern state of Veracruz, told Tierramérica."

      USADA site;
      "Clenbuterol and Meat Contamination
      Further, there have been reports of clenbuterol use to promote growth in livestock, including cattle, lamb, poultry and swine.
      Consistent with numerous prior reported cases globally, the issue of illicit administration of clenbuterol to animals destined for food production can result in, under specific conditions, a positive sample from an athlete. WADA has issued specific warnings about this problem in China and Mexico. Unfortunately, anti-doping authorities have no control over agricultural and food safety practices in these countries, and inadvertent ingestion remains an ongoing issue for athletes."

If you're worried about the oddballs on NSB winning some kind of Pyrrhic victory then this place has got into your head, man. Don't worry though, it happens to all of us sometimes...
      Please don't pretend to be oblivious to what NSB is or why people post here, or try to project some sort of shame for me poking the trolls. When I endure years of obnoxious posters making hollow claims and then watch them try to slip out the back door, you can bet I'm going to point a finger and laugh. These guys make thread after thread of intolerable nonsense, but can't handle getting called out.

      I think some legit GG fans are somehow bothered or confused by the message, so I may have overreached. I have no hostility toward you and it's a shame you'd feel it toward me over this thread when it's definitely not about you.

            But, what if they had a way out? To preemptively dismiss Canelo so they don't have to look bad if Canelo wins the rematch?? Also, a way to let go of GG because they feel a loss may be coming.

            Well, now they got it.

              What I think is sad is this. People wanted to see GGG vs Canelo but Canelo kept delaying and lying to the public and in the end even dropped the belt to delay further. Then when GGG looked old enough, shown enough flaws vs Brook and Jacobs, and the public criticism had gone on long enough they finally made the fight. But of course had to diva up everything, stuff like Canelo's name first even though Golovkin was the champ. Yeah A side blah blah but FFS Charles Martin had his name first when he fought Joshua, and he didn't have a single fan in the arena. So finally the fight happens and despite what we all saw the judges call it a draw. Could rematch sooner but gotta stick to that September-May fight dates and never ever have a fight inbetween say in January, nothing to do with liking to use PEDs inbetween fights because you know there won't be tests.

              We know there was no testing for the Smith fight. Canelo generates so much $$$, you'd think that if he was clean he'd want to spend just a lil to make sure his opponent isn't roiding up. But no. We know he then fought Chavez and that fight did have drug testing but we know it started late because it hadn't yet been arranged at the time the fight was announced. We also know Chavez publicly questioned the level of testing that actually took place. And we know now that Canelo is a proven drug cheat.

              And I look at all these facts and I think 'The real bad guys here are the Golovkin fans!'. No wait I don't because that would be ****ing ******ed

              The fight being cancelled doesn't benefit Golovkin because the ban will likely be a weak one so it pushes the fight back it doesn't cancel it, meaning Golovkin gets older and Canelo can go juice even more because in this sport we don't test boxers who are serving a ban, so he'll just be back on it again but making sure it's fully out of his system when the testing starts next time. Even if the fight is off forever, it's a rematch of a fight people say him winning and that he was favourite to win again and receive a huge payday for.

But, a guy in Mexico having traces of Clen is such a common thing at this point that I can't pretend that this has anything to do with the sanctity of the sport.
                      It's a perfect distraction and excuse. The excuse that these guys were looking for.
                      Nery tests positive for clen, blames tainted meat. Has rematch without clen and misses weight badly. But yeah it was just contamination the first time.
