Who said GG was a bad guy? Not I.
Haven't had time to read the responses but there's nearly a hundred of them already the ones I did read seem to be from people who didn't look at the actual post.
I should really learn not to expect so much from boxing fans...

With each post, you are proving what an elite couch-expert, biased poster, boxing hipster, a so called ''sweet science'' lover you are, but in reality you know as much about boxing as larryx. By the way you and all the other boxingscene ''experts'' couldn't explain to larry the difference between the american and european hook, nor what it was for 15 pages until I answered it, you gave a hands-breaking advice on a topic of ''how NOT to hurt your hands while throwing punches'', and I saw you giving your generic ''advices'' on training section. It may be doing wonders for your ego, but in reality you are not as knowledgeable boxing fan as you think you are.Regarding the fight, you're not a real science-minded fan so I don't expect you to follow, but the winner of the fight isn't the one who displays the most talent. I felt GG won because Canelo made a lot of bad choices, and was enamored by his own defence. It was clear to most that if Canelo were more efficient and played around less, he'd have had the fight. So clear that I see many coaches, pros, and fans picking Canelo in the rematch. I'm not big on either guy so don't get mad at me. I'm just interested in the facts.
Golovkin is not perfect and I prefer the flashier Clenelo style, who is clearly better in some skill departments, but GGG should get more recognition for his distance control, jab, intelligent pressure, accuracy and timing (although the last 2 are declining as he's getting older), blocking, cutting of the ring and ring IQ, which are all skills and all of them clashed well with Canelo's style. He's not Provodnikov, Wilder or Rios, it's just that he's not as flashy as Canelo so you don't see it as skills, which is ironic because I thought you were a sweet science lover, à la larryx. Boxing heads are favoring Canelo for a reason, he's: A - a highly skilled fighter himself, B - in his prime, C - on that high grade tainted meat, D (the most important) - GGG is 36 years old and getting even slower. Even I would say the gap between them is even narrower than before the first fight, due to GGG's age, so I wouldn't be suprised if Canelo won, unless GGG plays it safe and use his footwork and box him.Last edited by StefanTosic; 03-07-2018, 05:41 AM.Comment

Should he be allowed to fight while an investigation is going? No, that's what i'm referring to regarding cleaning up the sport. If he did eat tainted meat, cool. Let the investigation run it's course and let him resume his career. Now you tell me, if he is dirty and they are using the meat as an excuse, you cool with him fighting? I doubt it, you wouldn't have had the same account this long on this site if you would be ok with that. That's my point. Instead of the drama of arguing back and forth, what's the standard in boxing. Should a fighter under any level of su****ion that pisses or bloods dirty be allowed to fight until he is either found innocent or guilty?Clen in Mexican meat has been an issue for years now. Boxing, UFC, and even the NFL have had to deal with the issue. This isn't the cut and dry "clean up the sport" you're trying to make it out to be. If I honestly felt he were cheating, I'd be very vocal about it. But, a guy in Mexico having traces of Clen is such a common thing at this point that I can't pretend that this has anything to do with the sanctity of the sport.
It's a perfect distraction and excuse. The excuse that these guys were looking for.Comment

He's an extremely biased poster. I like a lot of his posts but it does make me laugh when him and a few others are made out to be the 'level headed, objective posters'.Comment

So true. Redd makes some weird threads now and again. I think there might be something wrong with him.Comment
