GG's popularity isn't as strong as it was a year ago. After the Jacobs fight, the GG hardcores realized he's not invincible, and he's getting older. Even though he should have won the Canelo fight, it seems people still aren't confident in him winning the rematch because Canelo was the better boxer.

But, what if they had a way out? To preemptively dismiss Canelo so they don't have to look bad if Canelo wins the rematch?? Also, a way to let go of GG because they feel a loss may be coming.

True. It is a performance enhancing drug. It really didn't help Canelo with stamina and I don't think it would help Canelo in round 2 but still as you say Olympians have been banned for using it and so should he. Its not a good idea to justify its use or compromise the rules of the game.

Canelo was caught cheating and used the same tired excuse as all the others before him. "It's the meat's fault even though I'm rich and have access to a high quality meats."

What Golden Boy was doing is damage control. It worked. The sanctioning bodies even have their back, which is wrong.

Regarding the fight, you're not a real science-minded fan so I don't expect you to follow, but the winner of the fight isn't the one who displays the most talent. I felt GG won because Canelo made a lot of bad choices, and was enamored by his own defence. It was clear to most that if Canelo were more efficient and played around less, he'd have had the fight. So clear that I see many coaches, pros, and fans picking Canelo in the rematch. I'm not big on either guy so don't get mad at me. I'm just interested in the facts.

Respect, but you obviously got angry by the subject too. Let it go. This is about the hadrcores who made thousands of posts out of devotion to GG, and are now backing off. This isn't an overnight this. This has been happening for the last year. if you didn't follow, you won't know what I'm talking about. I like Golovkin. I'm not bashing him. I'm addressing specific super-fan/trolls here (several of whom already showed themselves) and their predictable behavior.
