i dont expect the joshua fight to happen next, i genuinely dont. and the thing is now hes got ortiz under his belt i think hes the type of fighter whos going to dine out on that for a long time, probably be a few bums up next and fans will say 'well hes proven himself against ortiz'. i dont think a lot of them really care about him beating joshua, they just want an american heavyweight champ and thats it.

The point I was trying to make is you can't judge how good Ortiz and Wlad were at the time based on those fights because of the huge difference in class between fury and the guys Ortiz fought

Besides AJ didn’t fight the same Klitschko Fury fought. Klitschko was much more motivated and was at his lightest weight in years

I'd bet any amount of money that the 2017 version of Klitschko beats the Ortiz we saw last night. Any amount/QUOTE]

He might have but I can only go by what I saw. I watched Wladimir when he was young and in his prime and he was past prime long before the Joshua fight even while he was winning. He was just so much better than his opponents that it took years before he actually lost as a champion.

I honestly wouldn't bet on the 41 year old Klitschko but I wouldn't be surprised if you were right.

Lol these Wilder fans will drown you with their ******ity if you’re not careful. I’m surprised the poll isn’t closer, thought the Wilder defence squad would show out for this one.

Klitschko's the better name obviously but we don't really know what he had left. He got absolutely embarrassed by Tyson Fury, who is one of the worst boxers of all-time, took a year and a half off, and then jumped straight into a Joshua fight. He showed an inability to pull the trigger during the entirety of the Fury fight and again after he hurt Joshua in their fight. Klitschko is a first-ballot HOF, but that doesn't mean he had anything left vs. Joshua.

Who's a better fighter - Ali from the Berbick fight or Luis Ortiz? Louis from the Marciano fight or Luis Ortiz?

The poll clearly states “41 year old Klitschko” .... prime Klitschko would have knocked Joshua out comfortably. I would regard that aged Klitschko as not just better than Ortiz but probably Wilder too. Ortiz probably wouldn’t have gotten close to Wlad.

James Toney is a blown up MIDDLEWEIGHT lmao. The fact that an OBESE, BRAIN DAMAGED (literally) 160lber that once went life and death with Dave Tiberi goes all the way up to HW and arguably beats the top dogs at HW like Rahman and Peter should tell you something.

You people are so deluded you can't see that reality for what it is. Even Tua himself got schooled by Chris ****ing Byrd and arguably lost to a journeyman named Jeff Wooden.

Someone already said that version of Louis was better.

Sanders has been KO'd by Tubbs, Rahman, Ortiz nobody.

But Sanders hits harder and his resume is better?

Even a guy like Tua arguably lost to a journeyman named Jeff Wooden, but do you even know who that is?

Sanders' era was far weaker than this current era where the best super heavies were guys like Purrity, Thompson and Valuev outside of the Kltschkos. This era has multiple super heavies, Wilder, AJ, Fury, Ortiz, Parker, even guys like Breazeale, Ugonoh, etc.
Time for bed I think... You do know that Sander's era was the Lewis, Holyfield and Tyson era don't you??

Of course you didn't. Otherwise you wouldn't have made a complete fool of yourself. Again.
