Unlike most i put the sport first and leave fanboyism behind .

But man im not going to have a bad night if Wilder does get chin checked in this one , thats for SURE !
    My sentiments exactly.

I want that major fight between AJ vs Wilder but hey if he gets sparked by ortiz it wont stop me from enjoying myself.

And that's why AJ can earn more money fighting at home than by travelling to a foreign land where nobody gives a damn about boxing any more.

Unless you're just a hater that has to take AJ's side no matter what?

Dude you float between logic and insanity lol the guy sold 12k tickets to fight a can in his last fight up against a massive UFC PPV card less than 30 minutes away. That's not easy to do in the US. He has a following, just not an AJ fan base.

Think about how silly that is. We can't compare who is more well known until the other has a chance to become more well known?

It's not AJ's fault he's less known in the US. He's not from the US. His fights are shown in the afternoon, etc. It's not a criticism of him that Wilder has more fans in the US. It's simple fact. Wilder has had millions watch him on free network TV. Of course more people are going to know who he is here than AJ.

If you were confident in your position, you wouldn't be resorting to name calling. The numbers clearly show Wilder is more well known in the US. Which makes sense. More of his fights have been shown in the US. They're shown at a better time. He's fought many times in the US. He himself is American, etc. It's not a slight towards AJ that Wilder, the American, is more well known in America.

The question is then why are both Joshua and Wilder fighting on a Secondary Channel ?
HBO for decades was the more prestigious brand in boxing.

In recent years, HBO's boxing budget has been slashed as HBO is more focused on competing with Netflix for original programming than fighting with Showtime over boxing rights.

So Showtime has started to spend more while they sense weakness from HBO boxing, which is why so many of the biggest stars are on Showtime now, even if Showtime historically has been the b-level boxing network.

You lie, numbers show that Joshua is more popular in US, how many ppl watched AJ vs Klitchko and how many DW vs Stiverne?
Show me the numbers if you are so sure.
