However im picking Wilder to win and would like the better explosive /better build up super fight with Joshua .

You could've asked those people if they knew any boxer and you would get the same response. Boxing is not that big in the states. The only boxers you would get a little recognition from people on the streets is Mayweather and maybe Pacquiao.

More of his fights have been shown in the US. They're shown at a better time. He's fought many times in the US. If no-one has Showtime in the US what are both Joshua and Wilder doing their.I'm getting the feeling that Showtime is similar to that of Boxnation/BT Sport(Hardcore and Secondary Boxing Channel) in the UK.With HBO being the Sky Sports Equivalent(Preimer Boxing Channel). The question is then why are both Joshua and Wilder fighting on a Secondary Channel ?

HBO for decades was the more prestigious brand in boxing.

In recent years, HBO's boxing budget has been slashed as HBO is more focused on competing with Netflix for original programming than fighting with Showtime over boxing rights.

So Showtime has started to spend more while they sense weakness from HBO boxing, which is why so many of the biggest stars are on Showtime now, even if Showtime historically has been the b-level boxing network.
