This is a shallow a$$ division. Its not like there are many low key great fights vs overly deserving guys to make anyone isn't thinking about.
didn't you know Brah? since AJ beat Takam people have been comparing Takam to Evander Holyfield

And fair play if you don't think Wilder is sh^t. A lot of people don't too.

But the thing is who was he supposed to fight besides Bermane last time out & who's he supposed to fight next time out besides Ortiz that are so f#cking impressive that just totally changes everything? Thats the topic you seemingly started this thread on is those two guys specifically.

And I'm with you on the corruption bs. I can't name a non-corrupt way Bermane got a rematch with Wilder. And personally I think Ortiz is HIGHLY overrated (more overrated than Wilder oddly enough lol). Who should he have fought though that don't have huge f#cking issues with them to doe is the thing? Its a shallow division bro.
Who is better than 38 year old Stiverne and Ortiz right now? who has actually fought in competitive fights in the last 3 years, in the WBC top 15 alone ..... Whyte, Breazeale, Bellew, Pulev, Takam, Browne, Chisora, Fury.....I'd pick every one of those to do Stiverne and give Ortiz a good go......and they are ALL more deserving.

Nice. So Luis Ortiz is a bum unworthy of a fight against Deontay Wilder now. I love this place. Lot's of honest, normal people posting here. We never move the goalposts.

he was on the fringe top 10 for years, how can you watch Takam fight and not see he is skilled? the only thing that let him down was his size and reach. Watch the Povetkin fight, legit top 10 from that alone.

If you don't think Takam is top 10, sorry, YDKSAB

I also recall vaguely that Povetkin already defeated Ortiz in the amateurs when they fought.
Ortiz is too big for Povetkin . Povetkin is better than Parker . I dont believe Povetkin defeats Wilder or Ortiz based on the size factor . Nobody actually knows if Povetkin can sustain a high level he doesnt have physical attributes to fall back on . His performance against Rudenko and Hammer leave major questions .

Ortiz has made all his fights look easy and has not taken alot of punishment . Overall list that i made that would favor Ortiz over Parker still applies to Povetkin but in a more competitive fight .

Sure thing, I had Takam in my top 10 before AJ was even a champion. Go back in my post history if you want, or you can trust that I'm a Fury fan and not a Joshua fan.

LOL why so serious bro. Joker.jpg

I'm making light cuz lets be legit. Takam being a legit top ten guy says EVERYTHING about the HW division we need to know for this discussion. Thats not to even get into his skills or lack there of or his resume or nothing. I'm just saying this guy, Takam, is a legit top ten guy & we are talking about all the guys Wilder shoulda been fighting lately like that changes a mfing thing with him in most peoples eyes????

Between this & the BJS stuff we got into earlier you definitely lean strongly towards the naive side with boxing related matters.

HW is a garbage division. Its fun, but there isn't a lot going on here. As long as you are fighting solid top 15-ish guys I think its hard to legit break anyone's balls.

And I say this as a cat who was breaking Wilder's balls when he was fighting guys underneath the last guy & the next guy.

You saying this now, ignoring all the top 10's he's avoided the last 5 years, and ignoring the fights that are happening right now. Whyte vs Browne, Parker vs Fury/AJ, Aj vs Klitschko/Takam/Pulev......everyone fighting top 5's apart from Wilder

No. You're the one who created a topic dogging Wilder's last fight and his upcoming fight. Stop changing the subject. If Ortiz isn't a good option then whom should Wilder fight instead.
